Right-click + Save As + Drop it on a rack and play.

Is it that kind of sounds you're looking for?
sorta. pretty good. now its needs some serious filter movement and some crazy modulation going on. like something you would do with a mod matrix or similar in mu. electro industrial uses very off the wall sounds. the more of the wall the better.

im not sure how this can be done or if it needs to be done with automation.

I took a good listen to the videos you posted before and my first impression is:

The used sounds there are not very modulated by preset design...
This kind of music lives from the way of sequencing and the included automation.

There are slight filter, amp and sometimes pitch modulations in some sounds, but there are not so important like the kind of arranging...

Especially the Faderhead songs live from very impressive drums and much much distortion, heavily detuned sounds, which are more complex like the Asthetic Perfection one so let's start with this...
The song of Aesthetic Perfection uses pretty basic sounds...a kind of a heavily distorted and filtered 303 at the beginning with some pumping of a heavy sidechain compression, followed by a bellish like leadsound a basic sawtooth bassline...during the vocal vocoder parts there is a sequenced bandpass filtered sawtooth with some phaser effect on it...in the chorus you got again a very basic sawtooth lead followed by a slightly filter modulated pad sound with a little bit of pitch modulation on it...
In the break coming beside the old 303 line some little noise winds in followed by a basic sawtooth sequence sound with an automated filter rise and fall...and that's all... nothing magical in there...
The complete drive and pressure in the song are the brilliant drums....

But nevertheless, I'll try a little bit to see with what I can come up... 8)

and btw: this patch from Jo pretty shows nearly all... these are quite basic sounds and most of the rest is all about arranging and mixing...there is not much more going on

I totally agree with Jo and Trancit, the issue we are discussing here is about production technique and arrangement, not sound design in the first place.
The sounds in the given example tracks are resonably basic and it all comes down to layering, distortion, eq, sidechain ,....
When i read that on the latest Evanesence album there are 16 tracks for guitar and 23 tracks for drums for one track, then this gives an idea where to go.

@Trancit: I am working on some tutorials, but i face the same problem as you. I'm not ready for my own voiceover.

I don't even have a microphone :hihi:

In general I think, the more tutorials are available on youtube the better it is...
Every tutor will mention the same thing in a different way, even if they are covering the same topic and the best is to see different ways to do the same thing to learn, which way works best for the watching person...

Yes fully agree on that.

Something practical: I noticed an issue in the muvie recorder which results in avi files that are very big. Reason is that each frame is unintendedly tagged as a key frame. The next M4.1.10 version will fix this.

Here is a little demo of such a genre...

Lost the focus, if this hits the nail, but I like it 8) :

It's a little boring, didn't had much time and I think, the notch filter modulation does not fit this style...

But now I can tell you, 90% of the "power" comes from the drums...
