Yeah, I don't own any of your products (I don't have a need for them, but if you came out with an amp sim I'd probably be first in linekangul wrote:Reading this I understand that I should say thanks for using non-intrusive copy protection in your products, Urs.Urs wrote:Actually, they only said they did. Sigh. I have a really weird feeling in my guts.
So, yeah... Thank you very much.
So when are Diva 1.3 and Satin coming out ?

So true. I too am enormously grateful to be able to have such amazing tools as Diva and Uhbik in my studio, with rational and non-damaging copy protection. That's why I eventually intend to buy Zebra as well (although for the moment I'm endeavoring to wait for version 3 of that one, just to get the most bang for my buck).kangul wrote:Reading this I understand that I should say thanks for using non-intrusive copy protection in your products, Urs.

Here's another quite unusual angle to this: Zebra3 - if ever finished - will cost 249$. Zebra2 costs 199$, the update will cost $30. Most bang for bucks with anything u-he is buying sooner rather than latermysticfm wrote:That's why I eventually intend to buy Zebra as well (although for the moment I'm endeavoring to wait for version 3 of that one, just to get the most bang for my buck).

You forgot to say that if they buy Zebra and Zebra HZ, the update will be free, right?Urs wrote:Here's another quite unusual angle to this: Zebra3 - if ever finished - will cost 249$. (but not everyone needs The Dark Zebra - $99 is a considerable investment for a soundbank)

But that soundbank also includes enhancements to the synth itself, though, doesn't it? (I have been seriously considering TDZ as well ... not so much for an extra sound bank, but for what I understood to be some additional synthesis capabilities for use in my own patch programming.)Urs wrote:(but not everyone needs The Dark Zebra - $99 is a considerable investment for a soundbank)

Will you announce the "end of Zebra2 date" some weeks/months before it comes?
(Don't want to miss it.)
And will Zebra3 really have all the DIVA filters (including the upcoming ones)?

I don't see the point why this question is repeated over an over again.
Urs clearly stated they're not intentionally withholding the updates to be arses against everyone who obviously can't use Diva properly without the new features.
Let them finish the software instead of repeatively asking "is it done yet?",
funny- cause on other part of this forum people bitch about being "free beta testers for unfinished software."
