Bazille is a little beyond my current level of knowledge, but I loved playing around with the beta, and I felt it was a great learning tool (for me) due to the visual, modular approach. I would probably still have procrastinated and delayed the purchase until later, but the substantial discount ($89 instead of $129) worked as intended and I handed over the cash.
For me, the chief criteria were: a) I knew I would eventually want and buy it anyway, b) u-he doesn't do sales, c) the license is transferable (no risk of regretting the purchase, unless you predict you might need cash badly in the next year or so), d) I'll want Berlin Modular, and Bazille will offer an upgrade path to it.
I also wanted to support u-he because of their support for Linux. I don't currently use a Linux machine for making noise, but it's something I might want to do down the road.
