Includes a 16GB download with more than 10,000 sounds from leading virtual instruments from AIR Music Technology (Vacuum Pro, Transfuser, Velvet, Hybrid 3, Xpand!2) SONiVOX (Eighty Eight Ensemble), ToolRoom Records and Prime Loops.i wish they'd give specific info on what software is included, as don't care for SONiVOX nor Prime Loops.

If I buy the Akai, can I sell the Air to someone that wants it? (Since I don't).sbangs_air wrote:Includes a 16GB download with more than 10,000 sounds from leading virtual instruments from AIR Music Technology (Vacuum Pro, Transfuser, Velvet, Hybrid 3, Xpand!2) SONiVOX (Eighty Eight Ensemble), ToolRoom Records and Prime Loops.i wish they'd give specific info on what software is included, as don't care for SONiVOX nor Prime Loops.

Fcuk me those knobs are huge !!
Cant see why you couldnt sell the software.
I recently bought a Korg Nanopad and sold the software bundle for more than the controller cost

Each company is different, but Sbangs has said it can be sold as long as it isn't activated (much like Korg). It would be nice if these weren't packaged with it in the first place though.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Fcuk me those knobs are huge !!

This could actually be a very nice synth for live use as you could change patches without looking at a laptop screen....

Do you mean that you can actually browse through all the internal presets of any VSTi for example?Big Tick wrote: You can actually load groove agent, pad shop, ... any plugin you want really.... and browse it from the controller.
If that's the case I wonder how this is possible as a lot of instruments have their own/internal presets management (often not recognized by DAWs etc.)?

Indeed some plugins are not very cooperative and for these, there is a manual step involved to transfer their presets into VIP. However, Akai already did that step for a enormous amount of 3rd-party plugins, so that in most cases your presets are available, nicely tagged, right after it scans your plugins.GilJ wrote:Do you mean that you can actually browse through all the internal presets of any VSTi for example?![]()

It's soooo ZenBig Tick wrote:Believe me, they have the software 200% right. This thing is unbelievable.
If it's something like Zen 2.0 - then I think the software is MUCH better then Automap. Congrats!
After I was disappointed with NI keyboards - this looks really promising.

What caused the disappointment, just out of interest?szalonykp wrote:

I already have all Air instruments. And I am sure nobody will take it in to consideration and give us any kind of credit or discount...
