Sorry for the offtopic at this point, but I'd like to comment this: I think I understand your concern. To me it's more like this: sometimes I just sit there and try new things in MXXX for example. I use multiparameters for important controls and save it as a preset (in a fitting subcategory) with a good name and tags in the description so that I can use (and find!) this preset later without bothering how I could achieve this sound. Of course it's more work than just loading a ready-to-use plugin - I know. But in the end you can tweak things inside the "new tool" by needs.Svama wrote:Example, Vintage delay, I can build one inside MXXX or I can use replika xt for example and get a sound I like without turning knobs hours and hours inside MXXX to reach the same or a similar sound.

That's correct, but my timeline is very straight. I'm mixing mostly at night, family, job and so on. I would like to spend more time on it, but it's still my favourite hobby, which I love and never will give up.

I got Mmixbundle and Mmasterbundle and both are from last year auction. They are NFR. But I don't care about that. The way I see it is that Melda plugs are my base of plugs. There is everything plus more in those bundles and once in a while a new plug is added free of charge. So let's say I didn't have any transient shaper. Then it would just be a matter of time before Vojtech is making one, either by his own or by users requests. There is already a transient shape plug so it was just an example. But it mean that these bundles are always up to date and I am always covered for any needs.
Then I also bought some plugs from Waves, Nomad Factory, etc. Those I can sell or trade as I want, if I want. If I sell anything I will still always have that kind of plugin anyway in my Melda bundles. As with everything else, it takes a bit of time to learn and I sure don't know every detail about every Melda plug I have. But that is also true for a lot of other stuff I own.

Thank you folks!
And don't worry Svama, I understand it perfectly! After all I told you myself that it seems to me like that. The music is the goal, software is just a tool...

Then you may as well keep it since you can hardly sell it anyway. Forget about it and make music and one day when all the melda stuff have evolved (even) further I think you'll be happy to use it again.Svama wrote:That's correct, but my timeline is very straight.
