Would be cool without crackling (sometimes it crackles here) when changing the sync notes...

seems to be possible when using multiparameter with more narrow range... phantastic!!!!

Please please please : reverse delay per tap ! No other delay in the world can do that !

I've been looking for this everywhere, suggesting this to every developper, and it hasn't been made yet.

Imagine this : delay 1 standard. Delay 2 standard. Delay 3 reverse. Delay 4 standard. Delay 5 reverse. (...)

This could create crazy new rhythmic possibilities. I know : I've already made my own using DDMF Metaplugin.

Post

I think I might be able to do reverse delay per tap, but I imagine the CPU use might be really high. It will be interesting to try though.

How many taps do people need? Of course more is better, but too many will fry your CPU.

I don't quite understand why we need MTurboDelay when UVI have done it all. Why reinvent the wheel.
I can't believe that Melda should try and create every plugin.
There is more than one brand of icecream and burgers.
I would like to use only Melda plugins because of the CPU and the great quality.
But I still need other sounds.
I did not see the need for MTurboEq, and I spent a lot of hours working on that with Vojtech.
It turned out great but MTurboDelay would be a waste of every bodies time when you have something like the UVI one.

DJErmac & chandler: I suppose Granular would be the solution for that. Or maybe Rhythmizer. I think it could be pretty fast.

spencer: The point is not to simulate Relayer - it would be just a single active preset. But there is waaaaay more to invent. Anyways as said before - I wouldn't personally do the design mostly, probably.

What's this "MTurboMix" you're talking about? Did I miss a new Melda plugin?

Post

It's a project Vojtech was working on, it's not currently even in beta.

I see. Thanks!

I was about to suggest features from OhmBoyz for consideration to be included, mimicked or improved upon when the list became too long. Play with it, watch how others use it and create from there, the results should be strange and interesting.

Nice, ohmboyz sounds good. I'll take a look.

This is a list of free delay vsts that use "not necessarily normal" approaches. You may find their descriptions inspirational even without trying to replicate their approach.

Most other delays that I've seen that are beyond the norm seem to be part of multieffect groupings. Obviously, adding any kind of effect to different parts of the audio signal can yield interesting and surprising results.

The only other curiosities that I have thought about are - increasing modulation ranges in both directions (.001 to above 100Hz). By increasing sensitivities to 3 decimal places and well into the audible oscillating ranges we are able to explore realms of modulation that are not commonly available. How useful they are is questionable.

Very helpful, thank you. I will read all of it for inspiration.
