It could be that a new guidance would be adopted when Melda adds sampler capabilities, so an -S- would be added to the plugin's name.

which will be complemented by MPowerSSynth if said extensive Sampler capabilities are added to the existing one...

Sounds like the sampler aspect makes this instrument distinct from MPowerSynth. But if this is really an instrument meant to focus on its modular capacities, then I'd add my vote to MModular.

Hi Vojtech,
getting really interested...let´s see if it will compete with monsters like BioTek2. Will it have stutter, repeater and glitch (besides Granular via MXXX) modules which interact with the sample modules? Will it have more advanced granular-features? Will the sample modules have time-stretching? Can samples be used as a modulation source or as a source to manipulate resonance behavoir in physical modelling modules? Will there be advanced morphing features and a modulatable X/Y- pad whereto you can route multiple modules to certain places AND choose how the sound is affected when they blend over? Will it have physical modelling modules? Will there be FM? That combined all together in a modular system PLUS MXXX would be a dream come true. Please don´t do just more of the same already avaible from Melda...I really hope this thing gets one of the most creative and inventive beasts on the market one day.

More important than whether a name is boring is whether it helps describe what the product actually is. That's what makes "MModular" better than these suggestions. Most Meldaproductions names at least make sense.nichttuntun wrote: Hi Vojtech,
