I think there's a reason some of us thought that. I'm also pretty sure that were BT to be working with Izotope on an update, he wouldn't be allowed to mention it on a podcast

BT's not really the type to make stuff like that up.

I'm not saying there isn't a new product. I'm suggesting that it might bot be done in collaboration with Izotope. In such a case, it will technically be an update, but likely with no price-break to which owners of the first iteration would normally be entitled

It's possible, the copyright of Stutter Edit is owned by BT and not Izoptope so he could be working with another company

Looking forward to seeing what V2 brings. The gui col definitely use an overhaul. If he updates that drum plugin too so that it shows the whole sequence rather than an idiotic 3/4 of the sequence, which requires scrolling, I might be interested in that too.

in what way does it "require scrolling", though?
unless one click is scrolling, nowadays...

seriously, what part of it is complicated? if you could see only one bar at a time like in Nerve, then you can't stretch a note past the end of that bar and into the next one. therefore you see a bar and a half at a time, and you can click on bar one or bar two to select. what, do you literally click-hold the scroll bar and move it? LOL - dude, BT made this vst, not some idiot, and he made it for people who wouldn't have trouble getting the UI, no offense.
