I think BONES was patient and reasonable throughout, but when buffalo roam said things like "Here's a dozen sound effects for you to use, but you can use only just one at a time is just stupid" and "You've made it clear you like working with dumbed-down, half-baked synths" BONES pushed back in a similar way.

Perhaps it seems stupid to you but it works fine for me - make a decision and move on. Again, I'd point you to the factory presets to show that it can work brilliantly.
I want to use a synth's internal sound effects as much as possible to create a reusable preset.
Why, when you can make them easily as is? Have you even tried?
Sound effects in a daw don't do that.
"Sound effects" are things you get in sample packs. But if you'd bother to read the manual, you'd see that several of the effects are actually combinations of effects. e.g. "Neuro" is a combination of phaser, chorus and drive and "Trasher" is a distortion chain of fuzz->waveshaping->spectral shifting->dynamic compression->convolution. They are clearly designed to allow you to do complex things simply which, for my money is a great approach. If you want something more complex, use Phaseplant. For me the whole attraction of Rumble is it's simplicity and ease of use.
If you don't even use the mod matrix, why do you have anything to say about it?
You brought it up, I was simply pointing out that it doesn't actually do anything that can't be done more elegantly in other ways and, for that reason, would be a waste of time putting any extra dev effort into.
I like handiness of using mod matrixes as they are usually designed, and this one doesn't cut it.
It may not be what you are used to but that doesn't mean it needs to be changed. Most of them are an unnecessary waste of time and the "classic" design is, for my money, much worse than Rumble's layout. As I said, it's a proper matrix and because the positions of everything are fixed, it makes it much easier to find the thing you are looking for and over time you'll be able to get to things without even thinking about it.
Synths like Phase Plant, Massive X, and Zebra 3 do a much better job of clarifying which modulator is attached to what's being modulated.
No they don't. What could be more elegant than a simple right-click? I've never tired either MassiveX or Zebra but with PP, any advantage it might have in showing modulation routings is completely undone by the fact the modules can be in any random order and are often invisible in the main UI. OTOH, Rumble has everything in a fixed place and most of it is visible from the main UI at all times, so it doesn't need a complex way of showing modulation routings.
I don't watch videos made by idiots. Sorry if you have.
I doubt you're qualified to judge.
You've made it clear you like working with dumbed-down, half-baked synths, so have fun with it.
And when you start watching a video that looks stupid, just stop it.
And you've made it clear that you have no f**king clue, mate.
Yep. Doing personal attacks and then clame to be the victim when they get a reaction seems to be a trend for many these days.

I miss the old days when we would agree to disagree and still be friends even when some harsh words where thrown back and forth.
