Alright, fine, it allows for a wider range of sounds, and it does sound pretty nice. BUT - when returning the pitch of the pulse wave back to 0.00 it does NOT bring the waveforms back into a solid phase-locked relationship.
But yes , I think it's a small bug .
My mistake was that I kept pressing the same note over again, listening for changes.
Overall I think this is a great emulation, and a useful and unique addition to the TAL collection.
About the envelope, yes, it's a little bit clunky, but I think that the unique oscillator+the multi-stage envelope were the two main selling points of the Alpha range, back in the day.
The little graphical representation in the TAL version helps a lot at keeping all the Ts and Ls straight.
