Hi Yan, I double-checked the Softube price sheet and they are indeed telling us to sell it for $119. :-/Ryan99 wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 10:16 am Hi Eric, when I log in my Softube account, the upgrade price from Volume 2 to Volume 3 is 109$, while yours is 119$ before discount. Is this a mistake?

I guess it's not a mistake. The thing that really made me unsure is that all their dealer newsletters and banners say 50% off. I thought if they intended to make it 70% off, they'd be loud and proud about it.Project wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 11:48 am Hi uncle E, I've found the same offer in my account at the Izotope site. It says valid until August 29th; is there still the possibility that this is a mistake from Izotope or now we can be sure that the offer is valid?

Yes, it's incredible. Spectral De-noiser is the one I'm constantly using.Harry_HH wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 11:49 am BTW, the RX7 is splendid. The other, haven´t had time spend with, yet.

For quick demos or streaming, they're incredible. Since Ozone's Master Assistant can be set for streaming, I actually trust it more than my own ears for that purpose.MrM777 wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2019 4:54 pm I think the detection circuits on the various "AI" driven functions are narrowly focused on the most mainstream of tasks.
Agreed. Imagine if Iris could load other sample formats and then apply its processing to all the multi-samples, that could become my go-to quick sampler.Take BT and Iris, which are still unique in many ways today, yet sadly abandoned for no good reason.

$99, the same as now. However, the upgrade deals are lower than I ever remember seeing them.

Be sure to let us know if this works as a pathway to bitwig 3 or if it's infact just for 2.4!

Hardware effect pedals: the Source Audio Soundblox range seems to be heavily discounted at Thomann. Dunno if they're any good.

It's Bitwig 3. You get a serial that you then register @ bitwig.com.strongergodzilla wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:32 am Be sure to let us know if this works as a pathway to bitwig 3 or if it's infact just for 2.4!

The "Upgrade" is basically a code that you can use at any time to get 12 months of updates from the moment you activate that code. It's always the latest version, so as was said, there is no "2.4 update" as the page on reverb.com suggests (rather silly of them actually, I'm sure they would sell more if they had the 3.x info there)PsYAuM wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:15 amI will try to find out.mgw38 wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:10 amMy understanding is that there is just an "upgrade plan". The version numbers that are sometimes listed have no real meaning.PsYAuM wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:05 amThis is only an upgrade to 2.4 from version 1mtelesha wrote: Fri Aug 02, 2019 2:49 am Bitwig Upgrade 50% off normally $169.99 and the lowest I have ever seen was $129.99 and now it is $84.99.

By the way does anyone know if it s possible to purchase a second upgrade?
I have one that i have not activated yet. Will do on the next meaningful update as i have just expired
After those 12 months, you keep the last version you had at that moment infinitely.
You can then use another update code whenever you want to get another 12 months of updates from that moment on - rinse and repeat...
I have one update code sitting in my mail folder ATM and will activate it when a version comes out that needs it. My update plan has expired already but version 3 was still included. As long as you don't use the codes, I don't see why you shouldn't buy as many as you want in theory.
Although it's always possible that things change in the future, so I personally won't buy more than one update code at a time.
What I do not know is, if you can enter several codes right away and get multiple years of updates. That would be a question for support. But IMO it makes more sense to only activate when something needs it.
The only specific update is from 8-Track, since that is more expensive than the normal one, but again you get 12 months of updates included.
This is just me as a customer speaking, I have no special inside information.
And yeah, Bitwig 3 is really good.
Cheers,
Tom

At Reverb it generally means "we've run out of licences and you won't see any more until the price goes back up".
