What Im interested in is the quality of the components - IE how good will the filters sound? How much presence will the stock Osc have? I have to be honest in saying I have found many softsynths to be 'too much options and millions of tweekability - but not enough straight - up quality in basic sound'.
Some might say that a Moog Little Phatty is limited because it only has a 1x1 modulation bus. But when you hear the quality of sound it kicks out - you forget about being able to use 5 Osc like you can in many softsynths. And simple modulations just 'sound' better than if you did the same on a lesser synth.
Ok more fair example would be a Virus - as its VA. They still have a market because IMO the quality of their coding is still better than the majority of softsynths. IMHO IMO IMO IMO

To be honest without quality - Im not interested in quantity.
I'd rather have 3 limited but quality instruments - than one 'jack of all trades - master of none'...
