at NO time was I in doubt of WavesUniverse GENERALLY, as I have been a customer before and did have a customer account at WU's old site where customers had accounts.
I KNOW that basically, yes, WU are reliable and "legitimate".
All I was pointing out is, that their site had been changed once before, just like this time - without notice ahead, and back then it was this former employee trying to do some crooked stuff... I was just wondering if he might be at it again.
Glad to see that he's not.
Given that Waves go x64 some time soon, I'll be sure to buy from WU again.
Thanks for the clarification. We understand everyone needs to be careful on the internet now a days. Unfortunately, as you pointed out, it is difficult to determine who is legit and who isn't. I want to mention here, the most important indicator is the domain name http://www.wavesuniverse.com. That name is registered to Waves Universe and can not be used by anyone else. When our previous programmer tried to use our good name for his own benefit, he had to use a different domain (I think he used wavesmonster or something like that). If you type in http://www.wavesuniverse.com, you should rest assured that you are working with the legitimate owners of the site. Sorry to keep beating this dead horse. Thanks again for supporting our efforts.

Before anyone jumps on the "constantly bumped" by Brian@IK Multimedia "15USD for T-Racks 3 Shell" deal, let me tell you an alternative:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=321956
Instead of spending 15USD plus VAT, pay only 5,90Euro plus shipping with the German Beat Magazine #69 (July/August 2011) - it's bundled on the CD.
Just follow the link I just posted, everything's written in there.

The lower end Silver Symphonic Orchestra from EastWestQuantum Leap goes for 70 euros incl. courier shipping whithin EU. (That's when bought from bestservice.de and using promo2011 on checkout. Any thought? )
Is it any good? (16-BIT, 11GB) How does compares to ie, IK's Miroslav?

IMHO, there's no comparison - EWQLSO sounds hugely better, even the Silver version. Even the best Miroslav demos I've heard sound like synth strings. (I do actually own both, but unfortunately I haven't had too much experience really working with either of them yet.)

I've got Goliath and Ra from EastWest and will be purchasing the Gold SO soon. The sounds of these libraries are unmatched in my opinion. For 70 euros, I'd go for it! Just know that with the Silver edition you have fewer instruments and MUCH fewer articulations. I wasn't too impressed by IK's Miroslav and I love their sampletron and sample moog.plc wrote:The lower end Silver Symphonic Orchestra from EastWestQuantum Leap goes for 70 euros incl. courier shipping whithin EU. Looking for a steinberg product ...
I am looking for a 20% coupon from the online music stores - like Musician's Friend, Audio-Midi or comparable.
I have seen the 10% level coupons, just wondering if it's realistic to wait for a 20% or higher sale.
Regards, James

Regarding this BestService deal:

Once again wondering if I should take advantage on this. Or better BestService does, selling a zombie rompler? The quality of the samples and price-ratio seems the deal max advantage. But I've read reviews from users of Independence and find scaring some bugs on installation and further development. I'm hoping Magix don't really drop Independence now they control YellowTools.Yellow Tools Independence Pro incl. 70GB Soundlibrary
SRP € 249.- , now just € 99.-

This issue of Beat, if u can navigate through the German, also has Disco DSP ThrillMe, which is a unique saturator and exciter, easily worth the price of mag.
Cheers

It is for promoting RP in USA.
It runs only a very short time of course, because USD 69-- is already a very fair price for this modular delay beast!!
NOTE: if you are at RTAS (PC) and purchased please contact the support section.
Cheers
Rob
It is for your 2nd computer. Your laptop.
You get two personal serial numbers.
We have allot producers that work at stage, so we provide 2nd serial.
