It's mainly from the guitar. It's in an alternate tuning meant to emulate the kora and fine tuned around the harmonics not the frets - i recorded some harmonics and time stretched them in Btwig to run in 3 loops to get some nice harmonic patterns for the scaffold. Trying to work with the harmonic series so simple ratios. The rest is overlaid guitar through a small modular system (bastl bob + their sampler) with a delay loop so i can get some drones and record some loose arrangements for looping as part of the arrangement in Bitwig.

Very cool idea for the alternate tuning. I might try that myself. The result is certainly beautiful!

Made in Bitwig and recorded to 24bit, 96khz
Exported to Logic X and resampled to 44.1khz 16bit

Part of a ongoing electronic ambient project I'm working on. Eventually the plan is to release the entire album with a "Pay what you want" on Bandcamp.
