Not sure I want to upgrade to Cypher2 this time though. Will these upgrade sales repeat later this year (with a better discount)? :)
That's correct, it ends July 16. I think it was 20% off the last time it went on sale. I think 30% is the lowest price they have offered it for.

Which ones are $20?
I got Dent 2 (using a second account) for free with the voucher. Awesome plugin!
Also, got Sandman Pro using for $10 with my main account.

Got 2 sibling freebies with them as well, so total 4 plugins for $10. Sweet!

Okay, thank you. Probably the best chance to get Cypher2 then. I will decide before 16th July eventually.

maybe early days, but there’s not that much there currently and prices aren’t that great, the marketplace here may be a better bet. Seems they’re relying on PayPal to handle disputes.
which is a great, clear, fire-proof way of handling disputes, as we all know

If it wasn't clear to some, you can get 2x $10 plugins like the Lindell Audio 7X-500 73-style compressor and PEX-500 Pultec-style EQ for free with the coupon (or 4x $5 bx_tuner plugins :) ).

I'd use the $20 voucher now in case Dirk decides to reset the coupon so you can use it a second time.

which is another way to say that they're not doing anything to handle disputes

No wonder my PayPal refund has still not reached me after almost 2 months. :hihi:

Has anyone checked whether the no-minimum $20 PA voucher works for license transfers?...

bx_PanEQ for $10 (with voucher) looks interesting (EQ for specific position and width of the stereo field), but will it work if you're using the Haas effect for stereo spread?...

I was interested in Nolly as an all arounder, but now I'm intrigued. I have the Abasi and haven't taken the time to explore middle-of-the-road tones (the cleans are killers). Would you mind sharing a couple of presets, particularly rhythm presets?
Sorry I think Id be the wrong person giving you presets as Im no guitarist, just a hobby. My playing style is so different I wouldn't know how to match what you may be looking for. I just find the three amp heads so versatile and different, they really give me different flavours, different emphasis. I highly recommend you play around with the Abasi more to see what works for you. For Clean and Lead its just sublime but the clean for example is so different from both Nolly clean and Plini clean, so different strokes for different folks.
Try very low input/gain settings for Abasi and creep up the gain for those mids?
thanks yeah, I need to experiment more with the Abasi plugin... I found a couple of interesting videos on youtube by people who know what they're doing

I am interested in this one as well - looks like it could be very useful and quick to use. They say on the front page plugins as low as $5 but I dont see any that low. I am not really a fan of pluginalliance as a company and wold never buy something again from them for more than a few dollars given their pricing policy. But for $10 sure

DDMF apparently make a similarly functioning plugin but looks harder to use. I wonder if there are other alternatives too

Hilarious! Funny that their PanEQ is a topic of the latest conversation right here - I just bought it maybe 15 minutes ago w/the voucher code - a STEAL for $10-0.01c imho -

Edit: I'm sure that it'll require a little bit of a learning curve; but if the reviews of the plug on PA's site are any indication, it can be a miracle worker. I'm currently a sound design guy - plugs like this are gold.

Have a look at EndeavorFx's Pantastic, got good reviews and 'true' panning, not quite the same thing but perhaps this is more useful? $20

Their famous bx_tuner is $5.
(Not famous because of its quality, but in the past, you could use it to get the multi-product discount to get a cheaper price, so you'd add one bx_tuner on sale at $5 or $10 and you'd get 20% off your order. Sometimes you'd get a slightly better deal for some of their more expensive plugins if you would add 5 or 6 of them to an order. Some folks have over 40 licenses of it now)
