Hey Dwozzle...
Yes you can use your Jampoints for the upgrade because thats how I bought AT4. If you owned AT3 before a certain date IK actually gave you an extra 20 points to use just for that purpose....
Peace,
Wayne

You can find audio demos of the acoustic sim on the Audio page of AmpliTube 4 at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... t4cs-audioBERFAB wrote: The AT4 pedal I'm most interested in is the Electric ==> Acoustic guitar sim. Can't find any demos though. Are there any?
Has anyone used a beta of this? How does it perform?

Wayne, where are you seeing those extra 20 Jampoints for AT3 owners? I bought it 2-19-2014, so unless you're talking about some pretty-long-ago time frame, I would have thought I'd qualify. Or maybe I'm completely in the wrong part of the IK site. Don't see any kind of upgrade offer anywhere in the store, or in my user area, just the normal $99 preorder price, minus any Jampoints you want to use. Am I missing the boat?bigwayne56 wrote:Hey Dwozzle...

Speaking of which, you're saying you bough AT4 with Jampoints you already had, yes? You can't use the Jampoints from buying AT4 to buy AT4, right?
I also didn't get an email from IK about AT4 at all (yet). Is there an upgrade offer in there maybe?

We have sent out AmpliTube 4 emails but none with a specific upgrade offer. The users that received 20 bonus JamPoints registered AmpliTube 3 before September 2012 (since the price was $349.99 until then and dropped quite a lot right after). You shouldn't be missing the boat if you have other IK purchases though since you would have accrued JamPoints for those purchases (like the AT purchase you mention from 2014 unless you've used them already) which you could use toward AmpliTube 4's already-discounted preorder price.dwozzle wrote:Wayne, where are you seeing those extra 20 Jampoints for AT3 owners? Thanks for clarifying Peter. Yes I have (lots of) other IK stuff, but only a few Jampoints left, and not that many Gear Credits either -- AT4 would wipe them out, plus a bit, probably won't do that.
Looking forward to this though. Really impressed with how the Mesas respond, really organic, great stuff.
You guys are doing a bit of a number on my attempt to not be spending much on gear for the rest of the year, you know...

Mesa and AT4 were irresistible 2015 products. IK team should be congratulated.dwozzle wrote:Thanks for clarifying Peter. Yes I have (lots of) other IK stuff, but only a few Jampoints left, and not that many Gear Credits either -- AT4 would wipe them out, plus a bit, probably won't do that.

Not that anyone asked me or cares what I think, but damn, the Mesas are just amazing. Messing about with the Mk III this morning, not clean, not blown up, just fat fat fat fat somewhere in the middle. Sweet high end, weight on the bottom, incredible touch responsiveness and feel, makes everything my guitar does sound good. Better than my favorite amp (and I like my amp).
Respect, IK, and of course Mesa) really well done.

That demo sounds pretty good. Any idea of how much latency AT4 will have that acoustic sim pedal.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:You can find audio demos of the acoustic sim on the Audio page of AmpliTube 4 at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/am ... t4cs-audioBERFAB wrote: The AT4 pedal I'm most interested in is the Electric ==> Acoustic guitar sim. I'm a huge Amplitube fan, like I just said, and that pedal might be useful, but to me, that tone has very little to do with an acoustic guitar. I'll give it a shot when it's out, since why not, but it doesn't remind me of my acoustic, not in the slightest. It's an EQ'd electric, that's all.gmontano wrote:That demo sounds pretty good. Hi Peter, just a friendly follow up: did the trip to HQ yield any additional information on AT4 CS?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:I'll see what additional information I can get soon. Of course this is pre-release so the standard disclaimer of "subject to change" must be used, but these seem in line with what I expected. Here's the info I have on AmpliTube 4 Custom Shop:
Obviously the new amps do not come with it, nor do their cabs. No UltraTuner or Looper. Same cab section as AmpliTube 3 so the 3D placement (outside of what you can do now), new rooms/environments, or speaker swapping are only in full AmpliTube 4. The Instert/FX loop is not available, nor can you put stomps in the rack or vice versa. Also there are two tracks instead of eight in the DAW section.

Thanks for getting back to me. Makes sense. So if you want the new cab room features, you'll still want to upgrade to AT4. Good to know.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Yes, sorry for any delay.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Hi Peter, just a friendly follow up: did the trip to HQ yield any additional information on AT4 CS?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:I'll see what additional information I can get soon.
