Pure speculation of course, but it might be so simple that it wasn't a priority for now, and considering the inclusion of the three players and legacy RPG8 and Matrix Pattern Sequencer within Reason itself it is possible that VST Midi simply wasn't a priority for now.chk071 wrote:What, in your opinion, is the reason then why they don't support VST midi plugins? It is kind of obvious doesn't it? If they support midi plugins, there are plenty of VST which will nock Reason players out. So, now the business will shift and every Rack Extension developer you know will start bringing MIDI plugins. It will be the same thing all over again. You will see Reason users start asking Propellerhead for Midi plugins support for 16 to 20 years. Let the Midi player Re sellers take place that will be the game now. It is kind of funny at this point with this company. Always half baked.
For clarification, the point I think is silly is the remark about RE developers and midi players. I really can't believe that anyone honestly/actually believes that it would be some scheme between propellerhead and existing RE developers. That is a silly proposition.
