Just like jbraner said - played around with the beta - tried differnent presets - recorded some stuff - noticed nothing. It was pretty early on with the 1.0 that I noticed missing notes.tasmaniandevil wrote: Aha, very interesting. So there really is something going on, and it's not tied to a single host or plugin format.
Did you only notice this with the final version, and never with one of the beta versions? This would be very useful information.
Which presets did you use in your project? And do you remember how long it took until the notes started to get muted?
I really tried to analyze what I did prior to the notes missing. I'd say nothing to the plugin itself - only muting/unmuting of tracks, mixing, rearranging parts etc etc... - took some time before I realized missing notes...
The presets I use in this song:
TUC Orange Radio
EH Vintage Melodist Solo
TUC Ancient Electromagnetic
Happened to all of them - not in the same working session though

I just made a final mastering of my Repro-1 track "Bataranga".
I changed it a little bit to get more interesting.
Here it is:

Hope you like it.

To jbraner, Stromfire, Biome_Digital, and anybody else who experienced the issue with some notes suddenly not triggering Repro-1 anymore (in the final release version):
I finally figured out what exactly causes this.
We had a little issue with a potential hanging note when using the host bypass or plugin on/off switches.
In the public beta this could be solved by just stopping the host playback.
But something we fixed between the last public beta and the final release version made it worse, and since then it's possible for that hanging note to disappear completely.
A possible workaround for avoiding the problem until we are able to fix it:
If you want to mute the sound of Repro-1, please don't use the plugin bypass (or plugin on/off switch) at the moment Repro-1 is playing a MIDI note (you can still use them whenever Repro-1 is not playing a note).
You can also safely use your host's mute button for that MIDI track instead.
Hope that helps to avoid the issue.

Thanks tasmanian.
I also posted int he other thread (sorry, I should have put it here - about a SONAR project that hangs (or becomes "nor responding" when left unattended
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=460687&start=2025#p6646005
and I can verify, that after freezing all 4 instances of Repro-1 - the file is fine (ir I left it sitting unattended for over an hour and it is still fine)

Sorry Gucky but I thought your 1st version was way better. And you deleted it! I listened to the 1st version once and now I will never hear it againGucky wrote:I just made a final mastering of my Repro-1 track "Bataranga".

In this version the effect you have on the vocal makes it incoherent. The 1st version was cheesy but not too cheesy. Just the right ammount of cheese.

Hi spunkmuffin,
here is the old version without vocoder voice.
https://soundcloud.com/musikus/bataranga-old-version
What is the difference for you?
So far as I remember I changed only the voice to a vocoder voice and added a noise effect sound.
In the mastering I added a compressor plug. That was all.
Greetings

Maybe add a bridge section where the synths fall away and there is a percussion + jungle drums interlude?
Also put more space between the different synth elements. Using panning, reverb + silence. Listen to Urs' demo track, he keeps space between sounds very nicely in it.
But definitely keep the original vocal without processing...it works! Thank you for bringing version 1 back

@Gucky: Are you sure that the "2 Chord Trix" track wasn't triggered more often (so that the second half of the sequence doesn't mess things up)?

Hi spunkmuffin,
Here is now a new version of the song:
https://soundcloud.com/musikus/bataranga
I changed the voice and added a little bit silence in the middle.
I also made some changes in the stereo placement.
Hope that it sounds better now.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Howard,
I trigger the "Two chord trix" sound each 4 bars.
But the original sequence is three bar.
The problem is that my song has a 8 bar structure. For that reason a 3 bar sequence ist not so optimal. With my trick I got a 4 bar sequence although the sequence is 3 bars long. Cicle: 1231 1231 1231 ... bar
Greetings from Lübeck
Gucky (aka Faber)
P.S: Any change for a new Repro-1 or Diva bank from you in the future?
