Ok in FL Studio I get a crash:
Access Violation at address 5A003C08 in module 'klg.dat'. Read of address FFF7FFF8.
I dunno what it means, but after the error message I get the cpu meter stuck at 99, and Zebra didnt load. So then I try again, and then it loads up, but the cpu meter is still stuck, and I get no sound from zebra. And then i cant even exit FL Studio, so I have to kill the process.

Interesting, this would be the very first crash.
Whwen exactly did it happen? On loading the very first Zebra, loading a song using Zebra or anything like that?

Hehe I am glad I crashed it for you coz it might have gotten through the beta testing into the final product. Whwen???
well, as soon as I load it. I havd no problem with the previous version of zebra. Although I should also mention that I use a crappy PC for internet and testing and such. This comp uses an old Anthlon 1800 or something, so maybe you are using some sse features or such which this cpu cant handle?

When I opened Zebra it came up with a black screen. When I opened up an instance with an automap wrapper the screen was see through. Neither made sound.
I simply re-installed the older version of 2.2 and it's fine now thank goodness.
I'm not very techy but would be glad to help if you want any further info

Are you using Live 7.0.2? That update fixed a few issues for me with VSTs (usually just taking damn near forever to bring up the interface when adding a VST to track).Gyu wrote:Installed this and it didn't work at all!

I forgot to mention that it kind of crashed live. I closed the application as normal but couldn't reopen in. Task Manager showed live still operating. I had to restart to stop it.

Hi..Yeah Live 7 and Zebra2 just don't seem to play well together..Hopefully after M-Meese Urs will have a real good look...The midi latency just happens at any given time when using Z-2 and L-7...Changing patches and never even starting L7 running just at some point makes everything in Live have about a half second latency...
I do not experience this in Logic Pro8..So hopefully both Urs and the team at Live will get it sorted..JON

Hi, an issue regarding remembering selected "look":
I don't know if this is a bug, limitation of my host or by design: I'm on a 1920 MBP so naturally I find the "Large" look a very nice feature, and would like to always have Zebra in this size. But new and old instances of the plugin open as "Normal", only those I explicitly have set to Large and saved, opens as Large.
Is this intended? Then perhaps an option or preference to set "Always open Z2 in this size"?
Please also note the potential problem in some hosts of setting Z2 to a size too large to display on screen, moving the Look menu off-screen and make it impossible to set it back. This can happen inadvertently by clicking wrong, or by working on a huge screen, saving the project, and re-opening the project on a much smaller screen. (In Logic 8 something happens with the plugin window on too-big sizes making it impossible to move around and find the "look" button)

I have this in mind... the size should save with song, but a new instance should open as normal.Superballoon wrote:Hi, an issue regarding remembering selected "look"
I'm contemplating a detection for screen size so that it can't be made too big. Funnily I've just learned about a secret trick with which any Logic window can bedragged from any part of the window... I just don't know the key combination, but it exists...

I've just installed live 7.03 and now zebra2 (the version with program changes implemented, at least) doesn't load with the gui. the vst loads all right, you can hear it, but the gui will show whatever was on that screen surface before loading it....

OUCH...The thing that is strange is that Zebra doesn't play well in live..No one seems to have any problems other than a few..A shame. Cause Zebra plays fine with Logic..So how is it it doesn't get along so well with Live?? I'm at a lose...I open Live and then insert Zebra2 and when I change presets without ever starting Live to play..Just going thru the presets..At any given time there is a very noticeable latency occuring..( to the point of even attemptingto use it is useless)
I'm experimenting with some settings in Live..But it has persisted for to long and I have lost interest to a degree that I find I don't much care anymore..It has been a very frustrating journey..I don't even care to go into it...JON

The "b" in Zebra 2.2.1b3 stands for "beta". Bugs are expected. Once no more critical bugs are reported, the "b" will vanish and an official version will be released.
