e.g. middle C goes up to 20 kHz and sounds really nice and crisp, F above middle C goes up to around 16 kHz which sounds more dull, A above middle C once again goes up to 20 kHz, high C (one octave above middle C) goes up to around 17 kHz and sounds a bit dull.
Using an overlay with Thor's FFT response, Thor always produces frequencies up to 20 kHz regardless of the note, and thus, it always sounds crisp.
I'll let Adam elaborate on this more since I use Thor as my master synth anyway
Sylenth1 still sounds amazing, and my post was not meant to be negative. Just trying to give constructive feedback that might help you improve your synth even further. If you add hard sync, fm, pwm and ringmod, I'll most likely be buying this synth too
