Yes, it's fully compatible with the previous versions. But it's always a good idea to make a backup copy of the version you are using now, so you can put it back just in case.hojoland wrote:Question: how does this affect existing projects (specifically in Ableton) that utilize the older version? Will they still work as programmed? Thanks.

No problems here with Abletonsongs which contains the "old" Sylenth1 Version and the new Sylenth1 Versinhojoland wrote:Question: how does this affect existing projects (specifically in Ableton) that utilize the older version? Will they still work as programmed? Thanks.

Here is a small error in the GUI of Version 2.01. (With FL Studio 8 as a host)

When you click into the INPUT SELECT field of any Filter and change the setting (A, AB, --), the corresponding graphics above isn't changing but the setting itself changed. To see the correct GUI you can for example switch from part A to B and back to A.
Not a big thing...

Confirmed with Ableton Live 7.0.10 and Windows Vista. Same with MiniHost. By switching between part A and B the values are again correct. Seems to be some kind of "refresh problem" from the GUI.solagon wrote:Here is a small error in the GUI of Version 2.01. (With FL Studio 8 as a host)

detune of oscillator sounds somewhat out of tune and bad in sylenth, would this be changed some day in the future ? To make decent strings from one oscillator.
genesis have good detune ,synth1,xhip and my JP-8000 have good detune but sylenth's 1 detune sounds like detune in synth maker synths.
