Taha...yah...that'll be, uhm, ah, sure, why not. Jo can do that! :D

In the meantime, here's another lil' experiment of mine...
taron-wildinger.MuSession muSynth with curious ring modulation... kinda spacey, but again just an idea.

Nice!
Do you ever write for your animations?

Just once and only as a mild background atmosphere for "people". :)
Thanks!

Nice! .. i hope you will go further with improving the modulations management
.. the workflow i mean
I like the idea of grouping tracks with their modulations
But in smaller songs you can have some instrument tracks and below the automations for it
There is some level of automations i think as method

But it gets complicated for me the use of two custom mux effects on the pad sound.. because don't know the idea behind this (song)

Really... that reminded me the music of the BIG ONES (like vangelis etc)!
...again... awesome (please finish this song man ;))
taron-electile.MuSession muSynth mild techno with muSynth drum fun...no idea how this works with speaker and subwoofer. I tried to be careful.

Hehe... dark melodies + techno feel = no words :D

Aside of the musical quality of your "tests", it's very useful for me to see how you do certain things, like fx managing and mixing. Also amazing how you've managed to build the bassdrum and the HH on this example with just one sound (nice bassdrum indeed).

There's always room for learning new things, and your examples are very educative, thanks for sharing them and keep on the good work :tu:

I agree.
Very helpful and informative. :tu:

Thanks.

Hi All,

While I like my commercial VSTi and I have purchased presets packs from sound designers to use with my VSTi. MU.LAB does have another side to it with the very clever modular MuSynth/MUX stuff.

I too like the "taron-wildinger.MuSession" it shows what can be done when someone knows what they are doing with modular stuff such as LFOs etc etc etc.

Although I do not always understand the topics that discuss such methods of creating sounds. I am very glad we have users like Taron and pljones to name but two.

While I mainly use MU.LAB as a host for my VST/VSTi I am glad that the user group has users that can help Jo build the other side of MU.LAB.

Anyway good stuff Taron very clever.

To get more insight/ideafor the modular Synths and MUX in MUlab i can find only 3 vst
- Karma FX synth modular
- Vaz Modular
and- Reactor
All three can be used as VST in MUlab

There are some more modular synths programs but stand alone
-Synthmaker
-Synthedit

I tried Karma FX synth modular in MUlab...

UH VAZ...my god I havn't heard that name in YEARS. I used to like it a lot in the early days. I'll have to go check out what they're up to these days.

I think I've heard Karma FX before, sounds entertaining.

Thanks!

There you go, a new song fragment of sorts...tried out loading samples into MuSynth oscillator. Really fun stuff...

taron17-synth.MuSession muSynth with snippits of my flutes.

I allways learn something with your "little" sessions.

This is a nice sounding one

It's so much fun to load your own waves into the osc.

Very nice!!

Taron, is it ok with you if i add a couple of your sessions on this page http://www.mutools.com/mulab-demo-sessions.html?

As you can see your copyright will be mentioned there.

AH, hehe, by all means! ;)

Only one thing could make me happier and that would be to know that it motivates and inspires you, too! We know how close you are to something extra ordinary and I can't wait to help you show it off! 8)

Oh, and Thanks, Juan! My favorite compliment, really! :) ...I'm learning new tricks everytime myself and am deeply happy, if I manage to share them.

I hope this inspires more advanced users to share like Juan and Taron.
Jo, your page is really helpful for this purpose. Is it possible for you to create a youtube channel to upload future videos of MuLab by users and you?

Ab-so-lu-tely !

Thanks! Yes i feel the drive too and am doing my best to develop things in the right direction as fast as possible. But decent programming does take time. (i do want to keep the code clean so it is constantly future proof)

I'm also looking forward to your input in the M4 chat here, in about a month.
