Is there a point in geting Diva if u own Dcam Synth Squad?

Own both and prefer DCAM Strobe/Cypher (not a big fan of Amber) and use Diva not very often. For pop, dance, trance, ambient DCAM is IMO more flexible and can create a broader range of sounds but always has this analog signature sound. Strobe alone can create very interesting sounds besides bass...

Diva is IMO more a "2-trick pony" :P Very usable for people needing accurate emulations of Moog, Juno, Jupiter and the feature to combine different emulations of filter/oscillators but with the coast of very high CPU usage.

So it depends of the style, the wished sound, the processing power of the computer etc. I would not buy Diva (again) and look more for a different VA compared to FXpansion... More clean but with more "typical" VA features like a good Unison implementation. Something in the direction of Steinberg Retrologue, Tone2 stuff (Saurus, Gladiator/Electrax), Synapse Dune, Sonic Academy Ana, U-He Zebra...

RE: DCAM, its got a depth beyond most VA's I've played around with thanks to its semi-modular implementation. I swear by it. It can't do EVERYTHING but its the only VA I use and probably accounts for about 80% of the sounds I use in my tracks.

DCAM Synth Squad is sooo deep, and I think many discount it because fxpansion keeps discounting it. The unreasonably low price aside, I think DCAM is amazing and is capable of a sound palate that is just different from DIVA.

I'm starting to dig in, thanks to some great presets I picked up ... oh, hey there myagi.
