Computer-shortys and Midi as schortcuts - thats really good news 
And with popup browser, the old one can hidden the most time
If this become typically to bitwig: u have to wait longer than promised, but u get more than excpected - i will love this "behavior".

Midi as shortcut is something ive been dreaming off
now i can use magic AB without mouse maybe 
desktop: windows 10 x64, i5 4690k, 32gb ram 1600mhz, 2x ssd 128 gb +2x3 tb, asus gtx 970, asus proz gamer motherboard, no external audiocard
laptop: windows 10 x64, i7 mq4700, 12gb ram 1600mhz, 1 tb, asus gt 750
laptop: windows 10 x64, i7 mq4700, 12gb ram 1600mhz, 1 tb, asus gt 750

Just to clarify:
As I wrote: I'm not completely sure whether parameters (like volume, pan, crossfade) also can be learned to shortcuts. Also which isn't clear is whether keyboard shortcuts also can be assigned projectwise.
What he says for sure is that the keyboard shortcuts can be customized globally. And all the functions which can be mapped to keyboard also can be mapped globally to MIDI controls.
