'Most', eh? Sounds legit.

I think it is fine how it is.

I have to politely disagree my good man. I've seen a lot of timely mod action from DJ and the Dad. I would confidently say that they are on top of things around here.

And less spammers and bullshitters, especially ones who pretend they dont work for companies, when they clearly do.

It seems that nearly 50% of the people who voted until now think that Kvr could benefit of a more efficient moderation

The percentage decreases though, but well, it's still high.

And nearly 60% dont. For a nearer definition of 'nearly'.

it was 46% who think that Kvr would benefit of a more efficient moderation when I posted. Including one of the mods ...

Anyway if I had 46% of my users that think something could be usefull to them, I'd give it at least a thought. Ymm-and will-v.

Well if people are gonna vote, they should at least be members who are keen on sticking around. So that pretty much makes this poll useless, because you won't get very good results if forum n00bs decide to vote. To get an idea on what i mean just meander over to the bitwig forums..

Probably but it's the same for all polls. So it doesnt make it less, or more, valid than any other one.

So? As there are more posts, the accuracy gets better.

And what do people mean by 'efficient' when it comes to moderation, I wonder. Efficiency is an increase in results versus effort, and after all, all that'd be required to imrpove that would be to lock any suspected contentious thread without thinking, banning those involved.
Im sure that would have the same 46% of users up in arms.

I'd expect that an actually useful poll would be people's thoughts on what should be moderated than how 'efficient' that is. There'd no point in it being 'efficient' if the effort goes on what people might think is absolutely trivial stuff, eg the thread categorisation you focussed on.

Then make your own *usefull* poll.

I'm quite happy with this one, and to see some subjects debatted.

Kvr is one of the most mature forums I've ever joined. Spam gets taken care of quickly and mods shut down hate speech quickly. I love being here.

no probs here with the mods, they have always done a decent job (except one who isnt a mod anymore) and its a pretty thankless task.

i find people moan about the mods when they cant get their own way in certain matters....

I've been around a while (I have another user name about 2 years older than this one), and this is probably the best the moderation has ever been on KVR.

Could it be better? Probably, but I don't think there is a pressing need for it.
