I was tinkering with a demo of the old version earlier today. Huhh. Turns out there's a whole other VA synth from u-he that I didn't even know about. But, yeah, it's a bit of a crashosaurus-rex on my Mac...which is to be expected from a 20yo plug.

Soon.
I'm preparing something else for Superbooth in two weeks, but after that I'll be back working on whatever needs to be done to get Filterscape betas out.
I do think today they guys managed to fix the last remaining issue before preset design and clean up can proceed, so I think we're pretty good with few issues left.

Hi Urs. I don't get excited very often about plugin releases, but this one is a rare exception
By chance is there an ETA for release? Thanks for everything you do...

We actually did a lengthy bug review today. That's a meeting where the devs discuss the state of things and prioritise the next batch off issues to crunch through. We still have yet another few technical niggles to look into. Nothing too serious, but stuff that we finally want to get over with. Mostly things that happen very rarely or in some hosts, some formats or under some conditions. It's mostly niggles, cosmetic stuff or edge cases. Something like a dozen or two for each dev...
Nevertheless we do see light at the end of the tunnel.
The new factory preset library is shaping up very nicely. The UI has undergone yet a few more transitions and looks even better than during NAMM.
I think a beta shouldn't be too far off, we hopefully know more in about two weeks, after the next bug review.

Unfortunately we have one leftover crash bug that we can not reproduce... once we figure out why it crashes on that particular system, we're pretty close to public beta.

I wish you happy and successful bug hunting. Good to hear that I am not the only one confronted with such a situation from time to time.Urs wrote: Fri Jul 21, 2023 11:42 am Unfortunately we have one leftover crash bug that we can not reproduce... once we figure out why it crashes on that particular system, we're pretty close to public beta.
And take a few hours off on the weekend. Sometimes, these kinds of bugs really jump at you after some chilling.

I'm currently taking some time off by implementing accurate models of the envelopes of an olden synth. Fun stuff, highly enjoyable and relaxing for me.
