Lol... wasn't comping/take-recording only introduced with V11?

You people really crack me up...

"And what appears to be "simple" to the user - may not be on the coding bench." I'm a 20-year programmer. The key word in your statement being "may". A lot depends on the state of the existing code and the original design but there are a number of little interface and workflow tweaks that I'm fairly certain would take little to no time. That being programmer ETA, which is always optimistic.

All that said, I never coded on a bench. Only in relatively comfy chairs ;-)

Lol... that's like complaining about a car having more than one gear because that's all you use - and know how to use ;) - anyway... it says a lot about yourself and nothing at all about the product you attempt to criticize.
Really, you should go and catch some fresh air, if that's what you think is a useful addition to this discussion.

It certainly is more useful than any sentence you have ever posted here. You are the most brilliant troll this board ever saw - that's because you are so full of yourself that you don't even realize that you're trolling.

going by your drivel in this thread it's obvious that it never even just for a fraction of a second came to your mind that perhaps what is an entirely useless feature to you is absolutely crucial/a godsend to someone else. That kind of thinking is most obviously just totally not your thing.

I barely ever use MIDI - do people see me walk around with a cowboy-swagger and tell everybody how pointless MIDI is? Nope, they certainly don't. Because I'm not such a shamelessly self-absorbed pathetic little twat as you are. ;-)

And you are a totally unlikeable, assumptive and arrogant dickhead.

There, now we have that out of the way. ;)

Now get lost, idiot. You have nothing to add to the discussion, apart from your usual personal drivel.

I think it's totally fine to actually blame marketing. To think that one is immune to marketing is usually delusional, so blaming others for falling for it is misguided. Even you're using the word "victim" for a good reason.
I agree. Marketing and advertising these days is basically intentional psychological manipulation and it's just collectively accepted. Completely absurd if you think about it.

yes, all true. but if one is aware of the manipulation, then is not one armed to resist it? or are we no longer responsible for our own decisions?
