FL Studio, unfortunately.
Ouch.. But when you're ready to step out of the children arena and into adult you should pick a proper daw. I recommend cubase or studio one. If you are unfortunate enough to have Mac, logic is a given.
Do you have a link to some music you've done with these 'adult' programs?
Uhm.. Of course. I fail to see what your point is though.. It's both off topic and off base. And I have links to music I made with rebirth and reason 5.0 also..
DT uses FL Studio to great effect. The "proper DAW", comment. The users' abilities are the only limits on any DAW.

The hyperboles like "Industry Standard" are no longer valid. People are making music on mobile phones, etc.
I don't know what a dt is. Fruity loops is a joke. Sure you can make music with it but still a joke. Imagine if say Hans Zimmer used fl and not cubase. That'd be hilarious.
Imagine if say Hans Zimmer wore pajamas and not leather jacket when composing. That'd be hilarious.

I'm interested in your bona fides to be able to assess the aptitude of others who don't use a 'proper daw'.

Post a link then, and lets have a listen.
"post a link then" you say as if I somehow have to expose my music on kvr because you TELL me to. You don't even ask politely. And it's clear you have a negative bias. You just want to hear my music if it's up to Your standards. No thank you that's not how the world works. You wanna listen to my music? Try to ask politely next time.

Don't demand people to "ok post a link", with an obvious negative bias where you clearly seek to somehow get me in a "gotcha" moment. Very transparent btw.
I'm very self conscious with my music as most people are, and just because you, a complete stranger to me, thinks you can DEMAND it from me is absolutely pathetic.
Well perhaps don't judge other people as "children" or "adults" based on your own childish "negative bias" next time eh?
i wasnt judging PEOPLE, i was judging the choice of daw. But I agree it was a bit childish to begin with. I blame the alcohol. My apologies.

This doesn't look like a comment from an "adult".

jsCompShaper might be worth a look, maybe not 1176, it gets good reviews.

I just crawled back to Modern Dynakiller after testing literelly every known compressor I can possibly find on internet.

It's really shame that the developer has gone and there's only old 32bit vst left. I feel like I can s**k his **ck and let him **m on my t**s if anyone comes up and reverse engineer the plugin to create 64 bit or vst3 version.

Easy, I'm sure a pat on the back would do.

What about DDMF's Superplugin to oversample and bridge? It no longer makes it free.

I could see why you might not Analog Obsession FET'ish... it's a little weird an finicky. When I want a 1176 vibe, I usually reach for:
- Analog Obsession COMPER - for blocking and tackling FET, or for 2-stage FET into Opto compression
- Analog Obsession FetCB - for a 'dancy', 'bouncy' FET
- TrackComp if I want unlinked stereo

Just curious, there are a million FET/1176 emulations out there in the wild, what do you find so special about Modern Dynakiller?

psycho circuitry stuff is worth a look too imo.
Believe he has a fet emu... not really an 1176
maybe?

1. I just don't like Analog Obsession's plugins in general. (I'm not saying they are bad plugins, maybe I just haven't used them in the right way) They always sound a bit muffled and also apply the effect really(like really) weak at the subtle settings and very(like very) aggressive from a certain point as I dial the settings, which makes it hard to adjust and find sweet spots. But I'm always a slut for trying new plugins, so I'll check the COMPER and FetCB you mentioned too.

2. Dynakiller seems to tame out the dynamic really well without any ugly clicky or pumping artifacts(even if you crank it up to the extreme). I don't know how the developer made it, but I've never seen a compressor behave this way. (His LA-2A compressor clone is also lovely... again, it's a shame that the project is abandoned)
