Pricing is the key, netflix went from monthly $12 to $16
Try bumping Massive X from $199 to $249, after removing features,
and adding shoddy extras...
That is why you can enable Netflix 1 month out of 3 and binge watch the useful stuff... then wait a few months and do it again. Good way to keep the cost down! :tu:
Good tip to remember 8)
A lot of netflix own dramas seem formulaic, but in a good way

x number of villains
y number of goodguys
z number of plot twist/addendums
different cast, region, cultures, and business at hand

When the formula holds interest, and the cast can act,
it's a good distraction you can jam with to gain skillz :)
along with some belly fat :(

NI products do tend to mesh well with film scores.
An ampsim, Replika, and U-he ColourCopy are my standard setup.
Easy, and very rarely sounds out-of-place.
Cheers

Please stop this trending, you see people have a distorted perception of things due to this and even thinking about subscriptions as a more "viable" solution for the future; companies and corporations love this procedures so to make us more and more dependent on them, this need to stop.

You Buy The Product, You Have The Product.

From my previous post:
We already discussed this before, again depending from which companies you're buying a software product, the product you're buying is yours; there is terms and conditions for it, we have to respect it, the same as when you buy a laptop, smartphone, tablet and other countless examples about products with their terms and conditions. You respect the terms, the product is yours, you can't of course do whatever you want with it, but is your possessions.

That's why many companies and developers says in their own websites: Download Your Product.

Exactly, because is yours, you paid for it, like come on... what's wrong with you guys?

I'm starting to think that maybe some of you are relatives to some of those companies or developers that supports subscriptions, so to make it look more "viable" option for the future. Simply because is absurd how exaggerated and unjustified your points are.

Use your mind the right way.

With all respect.
No sir...
You buy a fing LICENCE..
maybe you should read your agreement (unless they have changed significantly in thew last few years, it was always a LICENCE to use the software) :dog:

So use your mind the right way>>>

BTW.. I have never seen "download YOUR product"... can you link to a site with this please.

can you not please, so far every other time this comes up it doesn't get resolved what makes people think it will this time. It's now starting to escalate even more, so let's just leave it be now please...I thought people would get it at the top of the last page :?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

with all respect...you quoted something that starts out "We already discussed this before", I think it's well covered now...please do not derail anymore threads for your agenda...we get it, we got it...lets move on as that would indeed be the respectful thing to do and actions do speak louder than words.
Understood and it wasn't my intention, some stuffs just went on and on due to provocations.

With absolute respect.

It is possible to get quite philosophical at this stage, but it's probably better to keep it simple...

So here we go in fairly basic terms...

Imagine you are a cow that is locked inside a milking stall..

1) Every month they squeeze your tits to get the milk and you can keep using their cups so that they can extract what they want from you next month...

The terms and conditions will rarely be in your favour and you can bet your bottom dollar that the subscription rates will keep rising, slowly but surely over time...

That equals a subscription model...

2) You are still locked into the milking stall, browsing the internet looking at the latest stuff from the Berlin based software developer that used to actually make musical products and you don't like the sound of any of their latest wizz bang shit...

You decide to stick with what you already have because it is working perfectly fine to make music in an industry that has been facing a few economic headwinds of it's own...

So you aren't on the tit for a monthly extraction for the software, but your tits are filled up with milk and they are a little tender,so you go and spend some quality time with that stud bull over in the other paddock...

This is the non subscription model

But the other guys here have it right...

Any way you slice or dice it,we only ever have a license to use the software with preconditions determined by an agreement that we almost always never read...

So I hope that this little story clears it all up for you

OK, so it is specifically useful if you have a KK keyboard (KKK). Makes sense. I wonder why they include it with Maschine purchases?
rasmusklump wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2019 12:32 pmLol you think an application that forces me to download a 40GB Library that is already on my HD is "the best " looool
I agree that doing that is really, really annoying but I don't think it does any more. It was several times faster at getting everything installed this last time than the first time I installed it so I think it might have skipped stuff that was already there. I can't be sure but it was definitely way, way faster at getting everything done and I'm still on the same 4G connection I was last time.

But you know what? Even if it saved me 40GB of bandwidth, I still think I'd have chosen the automatic route via NA over installing everything one at a time by hand (which you can still do if you want).
