Paypal has now informed that a refund for $12.50 has been processed. Due to the difference in the exchange rate from when I made the purchase I was refunded 130 SEK as opposed to the 137 SEK I paid for the plugin. Not a lot of money but still not a full refund.
As yet the Nectar serial is still showing on my ADSR account as downloadable software. I have Nectar registered to both my PC and iLok and it is still showing on iZotope's website as purchased. There are still no download links to the sound packs ADSR "gave" me without me wanting them to.

I paid for a license transfer on here only to be told that it turned out to be NFR and they refunded me.Figg23 wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 7:54 am Paypal has now informed that a refund for $12.50 has been processed. PayPal don't seemingly refund the currency conversion fee, so I lost out.
Fortunately, as with you it was a small amount.
If it had been a $400 purchase and there had been a seller error, I would expect them to cover my loss.

haha that is a good one....Uncle E wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 2:47 am Yes, it's good. My comment wasn't so much about its quality as it was about its popularity. I actually think iZotope should help ADSR here because this is the most press Nectar has gotten in years.
well i got the refund, still in my ADSR account ánd Izotope account. i emailed, as already mentioned Izotope about it, but no reply yet, it wasn't a long time ago, last week... that i emailed them.
about pricing errors, or vouchers that were valid, while there was a sale (Eventide, it is here in this thread), that shouldn't be valid. via brands or resellers, there weren't a lot i took advantage from, but never, never any email, or keys were void.
even a pricing error; 0 euro... no problem...
the EU example, i know it better from my country, a tv for 1 euro instead of 500 euro, of course... but there are more examples, that a seller/reseller, had to deliver, while the price diference was quite big.
but if the price difference isn't extreme, and Izotope is known for dumping prices...
someone else pointed out, they are hong kong based, but still also Izotope has a responsibility.
my mastering and mixing solutions don't depend on Izotope (personal preference, and i don't need much, and when i need, it mostly for effect, and have it), so it will not be a big loss. i was more curious, and for the price, at that moment i didn't suspect any pricing error, because well i didn't know how old (or new) Nectar 3 plus was. but that does not matter.
if i hear something from Izotope i shall mention it.
(and i believe these posts aren't off topic, i don't know any other thread that you can make for it...)

Confirmed… Soundtoys "support" is the worst.. They never answered me.maldomusica wrote: Sat Dec 31, 2022 3:14 am SoundToys support just sucks... I tried to contact them 3 times.. They never answered me...
I only wanted to know if the actual offer is aplicable for dealers but I didn't get any reply. Neither on Facebook, nor by mail, nor in comments on their "ads". The truth is bad.
More than 3 weeks passed and no response. The fanboys now have nothing to justify them.

Guess they lost dedication and direction, years ago, only boiling soup on the same old birds, Guess the office is closed also, except when collecting your money obviously. I will not hand them my money anylonger. Maybe some can give a little inside what goes on, and what went wrong ?maldomusica wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 11:40 amConfirmed… Soundtoys "support" is the worst.. Nothing to add here but to say "only boiling soup on the same old birds" is one of the best expressions I've come across for this kind of practice.HM wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 11:54 amGuess they lost dedication and direction, years ago, only boiling soup on the same old birds, Guess the office is closed also, except when collecting your money obviously. I'm in a strange position because I bought the 12.50 Nectar Plus deal and agreed to the refund.
But I subsequently got the Music Production Suite which includes Nectar 3 plus.
The ADSR Nectar 3 licence is still valid in my Izotope account.

I have been thinking of picking up the IK B-3X organ.
Amplitube Leslie is on sale for $29.99. See below:
https://www.jrrshop.com/ik-multimedia?d ... _from_date
I have read that the real feature that makes IK B-3X so good is the Leslie amp sim.
I have NI VIntage Organs (and some other free quality B3s, like HaNon B70)
I would like some opinions: should I jump on this deal and use it with the NI Vintage Organs (or even other low cost B3 vsts)?

I have both the AmpliTube and T-Racks Leslies and they are really good. Given a choice I'd take the T-Racks version. I also have the a good number of B3 plugins and the IK one is my favourite. Can't really tell you why but it is the one I choose when I want a B3.jeffn1 wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 4:39 pm I have been thinking of picking up the IK B-3X organ.

What are the differences between the AmpliTube and T-RackS versions? From what I could tell, they sound the same but the T-RackS version seems to give more mix control. Does that sound about right?Figg23 wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 5:16 pm I have both the AmpliTube and T-Racks Leslies and they are really good. Given a choice I'd take the T-Racks version. IIRC only the t-racks version is stereo
I was wrong, the Amplitude version is stereo too

I prefer the T-Racks version simply because I don't have to mess with all the different Amplitube tabs

From what I can see only the Amplitube Leslie is currently on sale for $29.99 vs. $129 for the T-Racks Leslie. (I know this will change over time).

For me the main advantage is being able to use the T-Racks Leslie as a dedicated plugin as opposed to having to load up AmpliTube then mess around inside that. I've got a lot of Leslie plugins including PSP L'otary and B-Scanner (if you count that). They are also well worth a look but as I said T-Racks is the one I usually go for on my guitar.Uncle E wrote: Tue Jan 10, 2023 5:28 pmWhat are the differences between the AmpliTube and T-RackS versions?
