I have an issue with Push 2. In the newest DByM script the Project Remotes (via User Page) work, but when I want to change the Remote pages pressing buttons 2-8 below the display it jumps to the next bank of 8 Remote pages, pressing button 1 goes the previous bank. The buttons below the display basically act like the horizontal arrow buttons.

Hey Moss hope you are well! In the latest 20.3 version i run into some weird errors.
Whenever i start Bitwig 5 i get an error that says "MIDI Input Ableton Push 2 us currently being used by Push 2". However it kinda seems to work afterwards but i get those play/clip length dialogs poping up super often eventhouh i deactivated notifications from push. Are you already aware of any of those problems or is it just me ?

You might have two scripts active, just deactivate the one you don‘t want in Settings…

waht about placing a drum machine before it and using blank samples in the drum machine? I think might do it. Just realized. And I added XO in the FX slot so I can save it as a preset and just load it up when needed. Yaymoss wrote: Wed Jul 05, 2023 12:11 pmThat's not possible since there is no protocol via a plugin could send such information.melodyz wrote: Wed Jul 05, 2023 11:00 amI did and i see all yellow squares filling up the fire. Im looking for lights to represent just the pads that have loaded sounds in XO. its ok no biggie

Damn your were so right how could i have overseen this.. somehow the controller was doubled in bitwig 5... the startup error is now gone thank you!Tj Shredder wrote: Tue Jul 11, 2023 5:35 am You might have two scripts active, just deactivate the one you don‘t want in Settings…
However i still get the pop ups on the display for instance when i select a new track it randomly says Play, or Clip length. As soon as i switch off the push its gone.

Hi moss posible add chance/operators in akai fire in drum sequencer ? Thanksmoss wrote: Sun Jul 09, 2023 6:30 amSorry, I have no idea. I am surprised that Automap is still working nowadays. How did you use it in combination with DrivenByMoss?Skelmy wrote: Sat Jul 08, 2023 6:00 pm Need to report a bug to you sir:
Novation Zero SL MK 2 Automap was working fine in previous version of Bitwig with previous Driven by Moss extension script (as it always has).
In Bitwig 5 with the new extension script doesn't work with Automap nor does the generic MIDI and MIDI learn on Bitwig end.
The Automap on the controller device says the plugin has no controlls and pressing the View botton on the controller device to pull up the Automap Server app on Windows 10 says it's empty as well.
I tested again earlier with previous version of Bitwig and previous version of Driven by Moss extension script and it's working fine, so it's not Windows 10 or anything like that.
Is there a possible change in the Bitwig 5 scripting change that breaks Automap?
Hope this helps get it fixed

Look at the "Note editing" section in the Akai Fire chapter in the DrivenByMoss manual.luistro wrote: Tue Jul 11, 2023 5:18 pm Hi moss posible add chance/operators in akai fire in drum sequencer ? Thanks

Hey Moss,
Love you work with Bitwig scripts by the way.
Just wondering if you've had a chance to test the new Novation SL MK2 with Bitwig 5 and Automap? As that should be the same as the ZeRo SL MK2?
Just a thought.
Thanks Moss

Hi Jürgen,
I will try my best to see if i can learn the API and change the "OSC script" and the "generic flexi" a bit.
But i'm already too dumb to access the script files which are part of your "bwextension" file, haha.
I clicked around in your github, but all i found for the flexi or osc are some short codes , which i think are not "it":
https://github.com/git-moss/DrivenByMos ... ition.java
https://github.com/git-moss/DrivenByMos ... ition.java
Could you please tell me where the actual scripts are? And, to learn their language, i guess, it's best to read Bitwigs documentation, and listen to your "Developing with the Bitwig Controller API " playlist?

Hi Jürgen,
I can see that there are 300+ pages of feature requests and I don't know how you do it. So I'm apologizing in advance and adding one more to the list. It's for the Novation SL MK3 script. I like to stay in device mode controlling plugins and then switch tracks on the fly. Currently to do this, I switch to Track modes (green arrow), and then hit the Up arrow to go into device mode. Then when I'm ready to change, I hit the down arrow to go back into track mode, select the track I want with the button below the display, and then hit the Up arrow again.
I was wondering if it would be possible to add another page to the double row of buttons above the sliders. Currently the script displays Monitor/Arm and Mute/Solo by hitting one of the arrow buttons. What I envision is another page that let's me change track focus just like in Track Mode, but using the buttons above the sliders. This way the displays can stay in Device mode, while allowing me to change tracks on the fly without having to switch in and out of modes. This would work just like being in device mode and using a mouse to select a different track, but would be cleaner and smoother for performance. Hit a track button, play and control the plugin. Then hit a different track button, play and control it as the previous track, with only one button press.
I hope this idea intrigues you and you are using an SL MK3 yourself. Again, thanks for your work - John

Automap is a dead product and up to my knowledge does not even run on latest OSs anymore.Skelmy wrote: Thu Jul 13, 2023 3:02 pm Hey Moss,

There are no scripts. This is proper Java source code.nowiamone wrote: Thu Jul 13, 2023 6:21 pm Hi Jürgen,

If you want to dive into this my videos are a good start. But you should also bring a basic understanding of Java or at least Javascript.
