Looking good :) I'm curious in what ballpark it will be priced, maybe Zebra's?

Hey, I have an i7, too - why don't you ask me? Oh, wait... no Diva here :D

/me applies for beta testing ;)

We're going public very, very soon :)

Hehe, I was just in a good mood. No need to rush anything, do what needs to be done. I have heaps of gear here to play with in the meantime. Take all the time you need to make this one special.

Brilliantly! Totally happy with the new iMac and the DIVA sound :-)
...and then fix loads of bugs and niggles
I already compiled a very long list of bugs, niggles and suggestions - a very entertaining read ;)

I have a stupid feature suggestion for DIVA :hihi:

Maybe for a forthcoming update: A wavetable osc!
I know that would be completely against DIVAs concept BUT I guess it would be really easy to implement and it would multiply Divas "sonic range" by 9000 :hihi:
I'm not talking about an adavnced wavetable osc like in Zebra. Just a simple one!
It feels damn bad to suggest features this early but I thought it would be an easy way (from the developers point of view) to make DIVA much more flexible :)

Just an idea though!
It would need nifty waveform displays though :hihi:

Damn right! PPG emulation, or Ensoniq Transwave (from FIZMO) emulation!

hahaha... lemme just finish Diva first and then we'll see... :)

All suggestions in posts with more than two exclamation marks will be ignored!!

Although I'm fine with adding extra analog-modeled filters, envelopes etc as we go along I would really like to see Diva be kept as simple (and as true to the spirit of the analog synths it is emulating) as possible and be about *the sound* rather than a myriad of sonic possibilities and modulations that Filterscape, Zebra and Ace already handle nicely.

This is what Diva is all about. You can almost forget completely about the stuff in the bottom panel and fully concentrate on the beauty of those 25-35 knobs and sliders in the top part.

I have the faith Urs! :)

Sorry if I missed it, but are there different oscillator models? I know there are different filters modelled after different synths, but the same for the oscs? I see a triangle shape selector, but not sure if the dual osc part is also a dropdown?

And what are those two knobs with the (+) symbol and arrows going to the split selector?

4 Oscillator models
3 Highpass filter models
4 Lowpass filter models
3 envelope models

Some models have extra "flavour" selectors, e.g for different revisions of the same kind.

"knobs with the (+) symbol" are modulation depths. This is more clear in the final design (those black labels will be replaced by something more meaningful)

Triangle Shape refers to different methods that were used to create the triangle waveforms in certain hardware. It's all about "authentic" down to the most simple details 8)

Will hyperthreading make a difference for Diva? Will there be a difference between an i5 and i7? (@ same clock)
