All displays of ANA are wide, all is layout and optimized for horizontal. Nexus is focused on display heights and vertical controls layouts. I'd welcome Manuels idea of a completely free aspect ratio.
I'm not feeling here, I'm measuring...
A simple solution to calm your feelings would also be the option to just hide the macro controllers and the keyboard (I don't know if that's been suggested yet). Then there would be more space for scaling and it would look more wider.

some people are saying width is important, some think (incl. me) heigth is important.
well, so if both is important the average consensus would be an even square...so.. there should be 1:1 screens :D

It baffles and annoys me that this isn't a thing, it would be literally the best of both worlds :x

Anyway, size matters... at least, that's what she said. :hihi:

TBH, for most use cases, widescreen is the better option. It also translates better to our field of vision, which isn't square, or even slightly rectangular. It's just wide.

Ok, i surely get the timeline argument. I don't know how vital it is to be able to see a lot of it all the time though. I still would say that seeing as many tracks as possible is the more important thing.

Let's discuss this, OK? I really don't have anything better to do this evening.

Is N3 gui completely scalable? I mean can't we just save it as we want to view it?

iZotope Ozone 9 is completely resizable. You can make it wider or taller to suit your screen. It would be difficult to implement this on a synth plugin though.

It’s all about the girth

I wouldn't say "ugly af", but I can't say I like it. I wish it would look more like Nexus 2, but with a vector-based interface. I'm sure different skins will eventually be available...
Hope you're right... I loved Nexus 2. It was the most beautiful plugin for me.

@msvs So I still need to know: can I use N3 when my Music-PC is NOT connected to the internet?

What timezone is the release set for?!?

Probably a big complaint of n2 was the browser was too small so they made it 3 times as big. The entire gui is almost a list! haha

Anywho, looking forward to it. Will a demo be possible?

Dr. "Future" the future is online not offline. This is a cloud based concept. People do stream their productions since years, upload directly from the DAW to their label FTP, mastering studio or soundcloud. Ever heard of Loopcloud, Splice and Noiiz? Insisting on an offline music computer in 2019 is as absurd as asking for a printed manual. Just saying.
But if you actually live under a stone, I'd better open a support ticket through your account and ask if there is an offline activation option for Nexus3.
