oversampling here involves iir (phase non-linear) filters which mess up frequency response if mixed with dry signal. Bootsie proposed a solution of doing dry/wet internally, so dry signal also passes thru the filters and is phase coherent with wet.
as a sidenote, using linear phase for this would probably involve quite large kernel to get filter steep enough and that would mean some nasty pre-ringing in the highest treble. may not be worth it...

thats the point (plus the pre-ringing) and atm I do not have plans for that.

this really is great -but the only trouble is that sounds suddenly seem a bit lacking in character once you use ferric for a while and then turn it off

It seems to make sounds 'fit' into your ears better- down the narrow path to your eardrum..its going to get quite a few votes for sure!

Just tried it on a female R&B lead vocal. PHAT BUTTA...I mean it makes the vocal sounds bigger and feel closer. The singer herself even noticed. Very very nice indeed. Thanks again Bootsie.

+/-12db maybe? Then probably output trim should be extended as well to make it possible to compensate level change.
