I know quite a few people with Mustangs and they all say something like this (but with less detail). Usually sounds more like, 'it has no oomph, could you please put a real engine in it'?
Never realizing it was a retro design anyway and the original was also made for economy, not performance. (That came later when Shelby got into it).
