I appreciate you taking the time to explain, but I was hoping for something a bit more informative as to why they're needed in this context. To try and understand how it makes it work.

You see, I downloaded your latest mod, great BTW, but I'd already made some changes. As it took some time, I thought I'd copy the mods you made to my latest patch. I noticed you added the unipolariser and filter after the mfo noise balancer, I wondered why you made it that way instead of just adding them after the noise module alone? I tried it after the noise module and it doesn't work, can you explain why please.

I only have a problem when the noise module is modulating the filter, I don't understand why that is? Is the problem caused by the multimode filter then? If so, what is it about the multimode filter that causes the issue?

ok, a low pass filter smoothes the modulation sources,for this reason is placed after all the modulations sources,it's just a trick necessary only when you use the multimode filter with audiorate modulation ,this filter is not very suitable for fast/aggressive changes in the modulations,this is the problem.
Better to use the tf filter in this case,it responds very well to extreme modulations E.G: Oscillator>Filter frequency modulation.
Some things are not yet available because they require a lot of research and development,Jo everyday works to make Mux/Mulab better and better ,do not worry

However,I'm not a guru

, only share my experience and try to do my best:)
but I have serious difficulties with the English language.
I stopped working on some sperimental patches because of the limited free time available,
but there is always something to learn for me,so I'm continuing to work and optimize some patches that I use often, even on those simple synth patch that I have already posted in my thread and always share the results,no secret here;)
I would like to to start a thread where step by step show how to build a synth patch from scratch,another user time ago had asked me to do a video to show how to build a synth patch from scratch,I tried but the result is really bad,maybe I'll try again,never say never.

Time is our biggest enemy! But you're doing a great job helping out here, given me the plans to recreate the ER-1 Andreas helped me with. I may expand or redesign it, not too sure yet, but that's my next project. I've still got to finish those sample patches, when I get time!

Personally I prefer instructions to videos, but that's just me, I find it easier to follow. Would be interesting especially if you could explain some uses of modules not in the manual.
