Similar story- Fender Studio 7- no desire to upgrade, Bitwig 5, after a long wait and even with the sale on I think I'll skip 6 altogether.

TBH all the Live updates have made me more than happy with Live (and PUSH) and the new scripts in 12.4.5 are super exciting (even in clip audio editing!) so I am pretty much Live monogamous since V12 :o
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I checked out some YT videos on Ableton's scripting...

Very interesting, very interesting indeed. I find myself asking, is the compiled script CPU & GPU efficient, if yes, and depending on what kind of capabilities are available (dynamic shortcut keys for one) then I got some ideas.

If they gave script access to the main UI also for re-skin, addition of buttons to piano roll regions, track label regions, rulers, play head, toolbar and even to modular components etc... That would end bitwig for me... Then if bitwig did this, oh hell yeah. No more feature requests, the community would just do what we want, how we want. Bar major low level stuff...

Got me thinking of creating a modular DAW now that everything is scripted into it... Some super efficient GPU audio processing SDK integration, low level programmed internal vector mseg's, lfo's etc that can be cloned as wanted. And you got a DAW that could do anything.

Then 1 to 2 years later after newer ML models come out trained on the API/SDK docs, or if we have easy Doc to LORA for any ML model by then (easy and efficient way to add knowledge to an existing ML model), then anyone and their dog could vibe code up anything they could think of and plug it in. Could even go beyond just audio...

Got 3 to 4 years and willing to pay me to get a dev team together lol.
Web Developer by day, DAW tinkerer by night...
