Ok this is simply miss information. The reality is:
1. Mackie is very committed to Tracktion we are developing a support team of additional programers for both T2.1 and T3 and more plug-ins. We can't wait to get the next release of updates and bug fixes out but it is still in testing.
2. Spike is not discontinued it now has a free online update to basic T2 when you register it and will be shipping with T2 in the box soon.
3. Tracktion the boxed version is selling very well and we expect it to continue to do so and we hope to expand distribution in the US and we will be shipping to dealer in export markets in the next week or so.
4. As Mackie expands it's computer audio products Tracktion will continue to the center of our software efforts (look for more stuff in the future). Our Onyx Firewire card comes with Tracktion and can be upgraded online to T2 and T2 will be in the box soon. Our new Onyx 400F firewire interface comes with T2!
5. Tracktion is being backed by one of our largest marketing efforts ever you have only seen the beginning!
6. We do and will support other DAW and such with MCU etc but our first love and efforts are going into Tracktion.
I hope this end any confusion about Mackie's commitment to Tracktion development and support.

It is hard for me to post much as Mackie is a public company and as part of the executive team statements from me can be construed as possibly affecting the value of our stock. But many of the top execs at Mackie read this forum regularly.
But you can rest assured that Mackie support for Tracktion starts at the top and runs through out our whole organization.
In addition to expanding our development efforts for future versions of Tracktion we are expanding our training and support capabilities for Tracktion. We hope to increase our direct support of this and the Mackie/Tracktion forum in the near future.
Keep in mind that many of the Traction related staff travel and can not post as often as we would like so thanks for your support and patience.

What an idiot.
PS, It never occurred to me until just now that your signature, whether intentionally or not, is a good reflection of our current relationship. <laff>

hmm, ok, my feelings were totaly wrong and i'm very very happy about that, so i apologize that i haven't trusted mackie!! i still don't get what it takes them so long to say these things, because how can it be bad that a company hires additional programmers or the other things said.. but finaly they said it and i'm happy. btw i don't belive in god, because he hasn't come to my and said "i m here" even though many others do. that may be the problem some people have with me. and i belive in only who's asking will get an answer.semiquaver wrote:Aldi? - how about an apology?
and who is not relieved to hear that statement? now many trolling posts can be answerd with a link to it

Some of them HAVE been said, and you just weren't listening.aldi wrote:i still don't get what it takes them so long to say these things,
Not really. The problem I have had with you is that you start inflammatory threads based on nothing but personal speculation, make false allegations or draw inappropriate conclusions, while simultaneously begging for someone to wipe your ass for you in the figurative sense of the word. In short, you think you are owed things which you are not, and you take it upon yourself to be antagonistic instead of... well, friendly. You have absolutely no way of knowing that a different approach to seeking the information you wanted woudln't have worked. If I happen to yell at the sky one day, "Rain, RAIN I TELL YOU, YOU UNGRATEFUL SKY!" and it starts raining, that's not necessarily evidence that my cries are what has made it rain.i don't belive in god... that may be the problem some people have with me. and i belive in only who's asking will get an answer.
I, for one, am relieved. Not by the statement, but by the fact that at least some of the whinging can stop. You're absolutely right that at least now there's a thread to point trolls to. To be honest, though, it's not a personal relief, because we've been TOLD all along (primarily by Beno) that Tracktion has a big place in Mackie-ville. It's not like it's a mystery. Only alarmists have assumed otherwise.and who is not relieved to hear that statement? now many trolling posts can be answerd with a link to it

i wasn't thinking i owed things, i wasn't unfriendly and said allways that everyone can have it's own opinion, i wasn't rude at anytime (idiot,troll...?!) i couldn't find the information i was seeking (and isn't a forum the place to get answers, and I have no problem to answer to a question that's allready been answered elsewhere), the best informations in kpbpsws weren't told before, and i know of some folks believing in dancing to make rain and who knows...
