I only have LX-24 but it takes about 2 seconds to load for me on Windows the first time I open a project.
Yeah, there was a whole thread about it with lots of different users posting their startup times. In addition, I went back and forth with Arturia support for a few days. Where we landed was: there are definitely Windows PCs where the Arturia stuff just loads right up quickly. There are lots of Windows PCs where the first load of a plugin takes about 30 seconds for the GUI to open. There was no rhyme or reason anyone could point to as to why (not SSDs vs HD, not graphics cards, not processors). It's a bizarre one. But I'm in the "super long load time for Arturia plugins" camp. This is across 2 entirely different systems. Congrats to those not impacted.

I didn't realise (out of the loop even though I have many UAD plugins) that the synths are native-only. So I bought the signature pack - although I have some of the plugins, the overall value to me was still good - but am now somewhat disappointed that I need to install both the native and the DSP variants to benefit from both my hardware and the synths, etc.

I expected they would all be available under DSP - my fault for not reading the small print, I guess.

Got a reply from the support saying: " Unfortunately we do not offer custom loyalty upgrades."

Not sure what Drew is talking about on UAD forums then.

They don't? so what is the whole my offers sections all about?

Anyway this is what it is apparently.

I've also just realised that DSP plugins still aren't resizable - only native :x

I messaged support on Tuesday and no response. Oh well. Fully expect to be told to go kick rocks.

Upsetting your customers in the same month your competitors are having huge sales is certainly a bold move, lol.

Thanks for the information. Looks like they are issuing coupons only for bundle owners. What about those that bought all these plugins individual when they were being promoted heavily during their recent sales? Anyway, I have replied to support with this. Hope they issue me some kind of coupon.

Best to avoid buying individual UAD Native plugins in the future then since there is basically no proper upgrade system. Waves is so much better in this regard.

The longer this goes without even an official eff off from UAD customer support, the less inclined I am to bother. I'd like Sound City and the Hitsville plugins, the Hammond might be fun every now and then but if their emphasis is on the private equity model of customer growth uber alles then meh, I'll find alternatives.

Those are horrible upgrade deals. They’re just adding insult to injury.

My biggest concern is that we can not longer have any trust in their annoncements.
The official social media guy from UAD told something about custom upgrade paths and grace periods on GS, then stepped back, said something like "I misspoke" and "things changed", edit former posts to delete these sentences and so on. Quite disturbing!

Which one you will choose between UAD LA 2A and T-racks 5 White 2A for vocals?

I would choose the UAD Silver LA-2A or the LA-2.

Both the T-RackS and free UAD LA-2A models are incomplete. They both lack the R37 pre-emphasis control, which cripples them to the point that they only have 10% of their full functionality, at best. If you’re choosing between IK’s White 2A or the free UAD LA-2A, it really doesn’t matter which one you choose, because they sound practically identical and are both crippled in exactly the same way.

The IK White 2A doesnt model any non - linearities though?

I take screenshots to have some proof, I'm scared that they change what's included in their new bundles without saying anything.
This week has been something....

I had a discount on the Analog bundle because I already had a few plugins. Zero discount for any of the new Bundles where I own around 17 plugins already.

They've doubled down, edited and removed evidence of dynamic discounts, tried to gaslight people into believing they never HAD dynamic discount offers, and are now arguing semantics over per plugin discounts and dynamic offers on Bundles.
