Mine is doing great, I use it everyday. I don't need a plugin version, having the real thing.

still working on it, stuck on the vibrato effects right now which are easy enough to emulate. Im trying, probably too hard, to get the sound and values 1:1 with a real vortex.Waker wrote:Bump...So how is the vortex doing?
To be honest one of the things I'm trying to do with the plugin version is make the programming a bit easier. Spinning 2 knobs all day long (on the original) is frankly not my idea of fast & easy programming.warp x wrote: Mine is doing great, I use it everyday. looking forward to your emulation,i would be interested in a delay only version in the meantime thoughbirrbits wrote:Just a little update to say that I am still working on an emulation in SM, definitely not a small task. I was thinking about releasing a small, morphable delay-only type version of it whilst I continue coding/building each of the individual effects. Let me know if anyone is interested otherwise I will just concentrate on completing the other pieces.
Shame..... what about a hardware version?birrbits wrote:not unless your running windows under bootcamploose snare wrote:Will it be mac compatible or shall I not bother watching this thread?

My bandmate, a master of analog gear, a luthier, & general handy guy - but computer illiterate - just scored a Vortex & I love it as much as I imagined I would ever since it first came out.
But I am trying to keep all of my gear in the software realm (plus he won't let me have it).
