Wow, that all sounds really good man! I haven't chimed in for a while here, but I look forward to those changes!

I did not find the way to disable velocity... Is it possible to do this or not ?
Harpsichord and church organ are not velocity sensitive. So, the bank must sound at the same level however you press the keys. The triggered release sounds in Maize sampler are not velocity sensitive, and it is exactly what i need. But the main samples seem to be exclusively velocity sensitive (perhaps i am wrong). So the result is "bizarre", and not natural (sound of mechanics are louder than sounds of notes, if you do not press the keys like a butcher).
It is the reason why i do not give Maize versions of my banks on my site... I am waiting to know how to solve this velocity problem before making them...
Please consider this important detail...
Thank you for your work.

Thanks. I will introduce a velocity curve selection in next major update. User can choose heavy, light or no velocity curves.Burnie wrote:I did not find the way to disable velocity... Is it possible to do this or not ?

Please, make an update with this feature soon : I need it for all my instruments (organ, harpsichord, spinet, carillon)... I should be so happy to give my banks as Maize vst intruments ! I purchased it in order to do that, and many people are waiting for that, because many people do not know how to use soundbanks... 90 Gb of soundbanks are downloaded from my site each month, and many people ask to me "how can I use soundfonts ?" !
For now, because of this little but very important lack, "my" Maize sampler is absolutly useless...
Please do something...

Sorry, I am here again, but I notice some lacks in the actual version of Maize Sampler (if I am not wrong) :
- I do not see any undo/delete button ! If it is true, how does the man who made a multilayered instrument when suddenly he makes an error ? For example, you add samples in the mapping zone and then see that you loaded the wrong ones... How can you delete or retire them ?
- I do not see the possibility to move a group of samples at the same time (only one by one) in the mapping zone, from an octave to another one for example... It would be nice : select a group with the mouse, and then drag it...
- Another feature would be also nice, but perhaps dificult to add : the possibilty for the user of the propagated vsti to play several instruments together, like Kontakt gives. Very useful for a church organ : you add stops as you want, like the real thing...
- Like many people said before : more than 16 instruments, please. For a church organ with more than 30 stops, and the combinations between them... Imagine...
Thank you

I feel a bit lonely here...
But i must apologize for this :
Is there anybody there ?
But i must apologize for this :
In fact, if you double-click with the right button of your mouse on a sample in tha mapping zone, you can delete/retire it... So thank you for this... But it could be easier to use, and it works only one sample by one sample...- I do not see any undo/delete button ! Merci beaucoup Aleph75,
and thank you very much Sosayweall... and apologies for my/our impatience : Maize Sampler is the thing that all the sound bank makers are waiting for... I put my first Maize vsti on my site, just a clock, and my other banks will be converted in Maize vstis as soon as the next update arrives with the possibility to disable velocity...
- The last 3 new skins are really nice, but the chinese drawings, which are beautyful, are not neutral enough to be used for occidental classical instruments... Other more different and neutral skins are welcome...

Maize sampler MUST recognise loops made with an audio editor !!! It makes me loose so much time to enter the values of start and end of loops one by one...
It could also mark the keys used by the samples with a different colour, like NI samplers do. It would be nice for users of the vsti...
And a small manual is necessary...
No news, no updates ?

Cao is also involved in a lot of other things (e.g., studying for his degree!
) so this is not his sole attention focus, but rest assured he is working on Maize Sampler. It's just progressing slow.
