Does that work? I think one of the problems I am having is the data folder - it seems the slightest difference between what is in the data folder and dll version causes it to hang or the gui to go white.AKJ wrote:if it has not yet been mentioned: the data folder should be renamed to "Modelonia2" or something else since if it stays "Modelonia" you cannot have both Modelonia 1 and 2 work parallel.

Modelonia 2.0 VST Beta (don't mind this old thread)

for me temporarily renaming the modelonia v1 folder to "Modelonia1" worked and for sure it would also work the other way round if it was coded into the v2 dll. So the solution seems quite easy: The Modelonia V2-vst should per default expect its data in the folder "Modelonia2" (and, of course, in the zip-file have a folder "Modelonia2" instead of "Modelonia").

Maybe it's not minihost compatible, I never checked for that, I will

The Data folder issue will be temporarely solved this way: next beta will use the DLL location to find skin and presets.

Strangely Modelonia beta doesn't receive any MIDI message when loaded in Minihostpwal wrote:ok thanks, it produces sound in Studio 1 ok (just tried) but i tend to check stuff in minihost first for convenience

Does Modelonia use VSTGUI?
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4497410
maybe why it is so sluggish on my system?

Yes it uses VSTGUI 3.6, could be that it needs an optimization for Windows 7
BTW now it works fine in NI Kore, bugs fixed, but I still can't make it play in Minihost
Happy Easter!

loaded FluteSpace +.ksd and PLK BabySitar SW +.ksd in Kore 2 Demo with Modelonia 1.94, sound good!, <grin> But it needed to manually delete the old plugins cache for Modelonia in Kore folders.
Of course your Kore presets need a VSTi with the same ID "LTrm"
of the old Modelonia, and so you must only have that installed. Here I simply moved the DLL and rescanned the folder using Kore options.

Excellent can't wait to try it. The morphing in Kore works wonders with Modelonia when it's working and was a great way to generate new sounds too

And I would add that your FluteSpace +.ksd especiallyaMUSEd wrote:Excellent can't wait to try it. The morphing in Kore works wonders with Modelonia when it's working and was a great way to generate new sounds too
is cleverly mapped, <wink>
I hope more Kore + Modelonia users could take advantage of that.

Wow! Very avantgarde and expressive, remind me of Boulez and beyond, to be appreciated by a wider audience I suggest to make
a less "piercing" mix, maybe tweak EQ so that it's not so agressive?
Please share more!
