I have everything from U-he and got the Repro-1 for free.

Surely D16 can learn some things from them as i'm going to spend my money for the next U-he release rather then to applaude an absurdly pathtic coupon from them. I mean what they are thinking? Nowdays a 15% off for loyal customers which have everything they ever released is an insult (i don't even take the other circumstances into account). :hihi:

It's everyones free choice to buy it or skip it, and even get upset about a discount that is either too low, or for everybody and not only a select few. One more aspect is the cost for the developers. I am sure they can't survive on the love they get from their faithful customers alone

And now everyplugin upped the price to $69US. I wonder if D16 got wind of the lower price everyplugin had it for and put a stop to it? Speculation of course. Anyway, Tekturon is not anything insanely special and easy enough to pass on for now. I am not liking the business direction D16 has taken since working Slute (I mean Slate). Oh well... lots of other options out there.

Is that really true? I downloaded it but never installed it since I got really irritated by the fact that I couldn't find any information about demo restrictions on their site.

The only thing I could find after searching in the help desk area was

"Note that black splash window in a demo version, apart from link to the shop and button allowing plug-in activation, contains also some useful information like demo limitations. "

...so I need to install the demo to read the restrictions and if I don't like the restrictions and therefor dont want to demo everything is fine? Like hell it is....

Stop wasting peoples time and be upfront with it, it's called customer service , show some freakin respect. If you disregard that it will damage the company in one way or another no matter how good the products are.

Now if that's really the case that you need an online DAW it makes it soooo much worse, and if so they should really be ashamed, cause there's nothing at all about that in the "Software and hardware requirements of the product"...

I hope it's not true since I really don't want to add D16 to my blacklist, it's bad enuff that I had to put PSP on it recently....

I just spent a bunch of time comparing UVI Relayer with D16 Tekturon - the former is the closest plugin I have to Tekturon. I can replicate most of the patches in Tek with Relayer. Tek is easier to dial in however with the display. If Relayer had signal level meters within the step bars, they would be pretty identical. Just that "small" GUI features makes a tone of difference because you can visually follow the taps with what you hear. It's harder to know what you are doign with Relayer.

However that's not worth $56US to me (price for the sidegrade minus Plugin B rebates).

If you don't own either, you get a bigger bang for the buck with Relayer. I think it might be on sale. It has more features (a lot more). But Tek is easier to use and faster to dial in. I'm never pressed for time so for me it's not worth it. And, I was hoping to find it was different enough to warrant a purchase as I have pretty much all of D16's other software tools.

Kickass. So it's a buncha delay lines with their own settings for filters and all that?
Didn't even want to look at another delay but I'm gonna demo this one.

Just for info, I got an email, and coupon in my user area, with a "Special short-term deal on Tekturon, valid between July 12th, 2017 and July 15th, 2017" of 40% off.

I've demoed it and whilst it is nice it doesn't really give me anything I'm missing that (the incredible and gorgeous) Relayer doesn't.

Maybe a good price though if you don't have a multi tap delay. YMMV.

I wish they'd apply a nice logical GUI like this to Sigmund which I personally think is an amazing delay with an amazingly shite GUI

For some reason I did not get that email. Probably because I only have their Rack Extensions so I'm not registered as a customer.
