D16 Tekturon Multitap Sequenced Delay

On my YT journey I saw D16 is cooking something new,
a Multitap Sequenced Delay expected to be released on May 15th, 2017.
"Tekturon is a multitap-delay effect with 16 independent, high-quality delay lines.
Tekuron can't be thought of as a tap-delay effect in the strictest sense,
but more of a sequence of taps equally delayed from each other,
whereby working with the plugin strongly resembles using a step sequencer."
What's more, it is announced as part of the SilverLine Collection package
and owners may have another big hug on the price (highly speculative!).

Looks cool. Could be a kind of alternative to Relayer.
However, how does one operate all these taps? If it doesn't have global control, it will be difficult to dial anything sensible, yet alone perform live.
Also, picth shift /tape stop or just any kind of modulation / distorion would help. Now it doesn't seem to do much more than random M4L devide I tried last month.

The settings on the right look like the master/global controls, and the screen controls for individual taps.

would be nice, if they updated the older products (phoscyon for example) instead of releasing new plugins...

Wish they'd get an update out for lush yea. Thing loves to crash on me.
So they're releasing YET ANOTHER delay?
Hey, Repeater sucked so maybe they're making up for it? Wait and see I guess...

Not another delay, they are getting as bad as PSP. Why not just make one delay to rule them all?

How very specific of them.sfxsound3 wrote:It's an alternative to EARebound. If I get it right. NOT Relayer.
An idiot on Set Theory:

There are so many delay types, so many alternative designs, addons like reversed, freq. shifting, filtering, etc, etc... It would have to be a modular environment, you know.
But at least EARebound is no longer alone in this very niche corner of Delay-landia - sequenced whatchacallit.

Would be nice if they updated the names of their older products. I can never remember which is which.audio/fault wrote:would be nice, if they updated the older products (phoscyon for example) instead of releasing new plugins...
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
