I have it working now ok. I had a lot of issues starting with trying to download it on my D drive instead of where it wanted. So finally I just deleted Steam and let it install on the C. Not saying that's necessary for others. I'm not very computer savvy. I have 400 plus gb on my D and everything keeps wanting to be installed on the C. I wish I had known/remembered it was like this when I decided to have this huge D drive.

The annoying thing is that it goes in c:\program files\Vaporizer2\

and the folders in program files are normally protected. So, you have to allow it to install there, and then you have the issue that you cannot save presets or anything else there from within the program because the protection tells Vaproizer2 you are not allowed to write into e.g. Presets!

You can of course save elsewhere, but it's a hassle.

Yes, I get exactly that in Reaper. When browsing factory presets. I'm glad it's not just me. It's annoying!

Could you please try and use version 3.4.3? Some reported sporadical crashes have been fixed with this version and there is feedback that this does not occur in 3.4.3 anymore.

The former commercial version of Vaporizer2 had a 15 minutes trial period after which the output was muted if not licensed. Can it be the case that you are using this older version? In that case the plugin will read „Demo version“ in the header. In that case simply install 3.4.3 and the issue should be gone:

Hi Everybody!
Though i didn't like Vaporizer2 at the beginning, i wrote "The Final Dance" in really two days (and nights) and sometimes i feel like i don't remember doing it or that it was made by someone else. Songwriting was like a magic unstoppable swollen river and it's a song i really like!

This is the last tune of my first OSC "Season" and all the 12 songs written in about two years for this amazing environment will be on a CD (since 2003 i hadn't my music in material form).
Well, i had two missing concepts to close the Album: an epic "gran finale" or a weird prog song with odd time signatures and changes...something in that (impossible) style of Dream Theater's The Dance Of Eternity (...a real challenge)

Then, in late november i start to have fixed in mind something different, a mid-east style bassline in 6/8 that couldn't get out of my head. I recorded that riff and two days after...

Well, what to say...about 2 years ago i discovered this place and it's a real dream for me comparing, learning, challenging myself and having tons of fun with other guys having same passion. I won't stop to thanks everything and all those guys orbit around this!
