Just one more question.
Fixed: When using the Step Editor within Sequence Editor, the step position could change on the fly while moving the mouse
I thought this was a really neat feature of the step recorder as it was very fast to enter notes just moving the mouse and using a midi keyboard. Didn't realise it was a bug.
Any chance it could be made optional?

Post

No.

Note that you can still click in the note editor to move the position of the Step Recorder. That's fully intended behaviour. It was just not ok that the Step Recorder position was changing on every mouse move.

Post

ok, fair enough. Just realised I can use the keyboard arrow keys to change the step position too.

One more bug I noticed.

Create a 10 bar sequence on two tracks.
In the key editor zoom into the first one near the end.
in the second zoom in near the beginning.
Edit the first sequence again and the position at the top will show the seconds position setting.

Post

Oops, strange we didn't notice this yet. Fixed in the next version. Thanks!

After scrolling or zoomig sync. is ok.
Can you send me a step-by-step and/or an example musession so i can repeat it?
No, have not a step-by-step example,
because only happened occasionally.
If easy reproducible, I will give the step-by-step.
Found it!

MU.LAB test 3.0.29 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/azalea

What's changed: http://www.mutools.com/mulab/azalea/mul ... hanges.txt

If you have already installed 3.0.24, you can simply apply the latest patch.

Hope this one is (almost) perfect ;)

Is there a shortcut for "Collapse/Expand All Racks" (instead of right-clicking the rack's little 'collapse/expand' button) ?

Apologies, if it already exists and I've missed it.

Otherwise, would it be possible to have a function, eg "Toggle Collapse/Expand All Racks" or similar, included in the generic/specific list in the "Edit Shortcut->Function" dropdown, to allow user-configurability, etc ?

Thanks.

No it does not yet exist.

Added to the whishlist.

Note you can also [Shift]+click on the collapse/expand button to collapse/expand all racks in one go.

Thanks Jo, for adding that to the wishlist.

I think it's just the smallness of the button that slows me down a bit - but the "[Shift]+click" hint will definitely make things better.

I've made them a bit bigger in the next package.

Note that you can change/experiment with it too:

In the subfolder Mulab/App/Graphics/LooxPhat/Common/Panels

Edit "FullRack.Xml" and "SmallRack.Xml"

Change the CollapseExpand Rectangle. Format=X,Y,W,H.

:)

Great !!

In fact, I've just enjoyed having a quick and sucessful go at modifying the button sizes, via "FullRack.Xml" and "SmallRack.Xml", so thanks for that.

By the way, I'm still totally amazed by the sheer amount of really clever stuff that you manage to incorporate into the ~12Mb little folder that is MULAB !

I have tried it tonight, with Mulab 3.0.29 and all is fine now !!!!
I think you have change several things concerning VST support, and it's far better now !!!! Thanks

I just noticed that when you are vertically zooming out the parts in the composer they get too small for the text to be visible. The problem is that the text gets too small too early in the zooming out phase.

Maybe the header with the part name could keep it's height until the height of the part becomes the same as the part itself and just then starts shrinking. This means that lower end of the part, which contains the graphical representation of the part content would continue shrinking until it's no longer visible.
