Looks like the first statement/question was answered on Gearslutz, short version is yes they definitely possess different qualities that give enough reason to have models of both.

OK, I installed the T-Racks 5 CS, is it correct that there is an updated version of my old Tracks 4 plugins, and my Classic Reverbs, free of charge? I hope that is what I'm seeing, because if so, I'm pretty happy about that

for the folks stating TRacks doesn't sound as good as blah blah I would have to say that's your opinion. I have often said light and dark sound etc go hand in hand with different plugins. If all plugins were colored and darker sounding we would have mud. Comments about sound are from perspective of what is being recorded. I like other plugins but doesn't make me think these are not as good because they are.

For those having issues, the devs are working hard on getting another T-RackS 5 update out soon and I'll let you know when it is available.

My only issue with T-tacks is the price of individual modules is too high, $99 seems the average price, I think it should probably be half what you are asking for everything, otherwise it only makes sense to buy the more expensive packages. It makes the CS concept unworkable for me. I'd impulse buy a lot more and a lot more often with a better price structure. I get that the high price is likely there to make the packages more attractive, but in that way you are selling more an illusion of value instead of actually making the individual modules attractive.

In this video at 40 seconds it says that Master Match can also be used for suggestions that allow further editing with individual modules, but I'm not seeing where to use that feature? Is it just available in standalone mode?

Just downloaded the free v5 to see what my existing plugins look like. I'm finding the new Master EQ-342 gui lacking in contrast and slightly blurry compared to v4. Much prefer v4 interface tbh.

There will be GUI updates in the upcoming update that should be available soon.
