would it be possible to have some kind of granular stuff in synthmaster that would be sweet

Post

Of course sample playing and granular things would be sweet, but the FX and waveshaping(-table) section needs to be completed and bugfixed I think :P
(And of course that daaamn unison voicing :D)

Dont worry, I'll add the following spread parameters for unison:

1. Detune Spread
2. Pan Spread
3. Cutoff Spread
4. Phase Spread

Any more spread requests? :hihi:

As for editing spectra, you can do that, but with line segments again.

For a while I allowed editing the waveform/spectrum directly. Will to that again this week, just wait and see!

Update on this: I'll introduce some cool waveform morphing, not limited to segmented waveforms only. Just have to finish the layer FX first...

I know I'm violating "Beta" status, but heck, just have to release a "pro" product! :D

Could there be a keyboard control or allow use of the mousewheel to select presets for quick auditioning of it? Control arrow key or something like that.

Post

* Some small LED or icon or something indicating that it is receiving MIDI.
* Ctrl-cliking the Master volume shouldn't set it to max due to the risk of blowing ears, speakers or just irritate people. :)
* When changing preset, please don't change back to Normal engine quality if other value has been chosen manually.

Maybe all this has been discussed before and rejected but hey, I try anyway. :)

Great work Bulent!

Post

I am with you on the last one especially...or better yet have a global option for the engine quality....now to search to find out why my sustain pedal isn't working on this vsti.

Agreed on all mentioned points, and I'd like to add my own ones.

Major:
-The so-called FX overhaul with additional effects like compression, saturation and proper multi overdrive/distortion
-FX routing (using numbers, or graphs like in the normal voice section)

Not-so-major:
-An option to control the 2 cutoffs together in the bandpass/bandstop filter; like in other synths
-Analog boost with intensity and frequency controls
-LFO attack and release

Just found a big one for me.
Have a global switch to enable Hold pedal as sustain for all presets as a default.

In the next release I can at least change the default settings so all release times of envelopes are modulated by CC64.

User LFO waveforms would be nice (wavetable import).

Post

Using at least factory wavetables in additive osc would be nice as well.

Have to figure out the easiest way to implement that :)
