Thank you for posting the video. For what it's worth, your playing is great. Not meaning to speak for him, but I don't think zerocrossing was negatively critiquing your playing in any way, just the way the YRG tracks.. he comes from a Yamaha G10 background, and once you've played a G10, the comparison benchmark is already pretty high for any midi/guitar type of device..annode wrote:zerocrossing wrote:Holy crap, it sounds as if you're playing guitar with work gloves on. I just like to act out a little when I see ppl say what I feel are in the realm of stupidity. I really don't get too mentally involved with it all.
It was just a stupid remark to make considering it's a new and evolving product...not to mention in the low market concerning cost.
Thanks soundloop. That's not me in the vid. I guess it was assumed cause I didn't say until a page or two ago it was a buddy of mine playing. So i'm not insulted.Thank you for posting the video. I could care less where they are or where they went, aside from the snarky tude, the question remains:
Does ANYBODY after this amount of time has expired have any POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS to make about string tension? WITHOUT whining or obstructive BS that is.

Now you know how it felt for me when I was asking for input but getting posts about starting a new thread. It's only a matter of perspective. You see it if it happens to you.Maruuk wrote:I could care less where they are or where they went, aside from the snarky tude, the question remains:

my order has not shipped yet, so I sent in a request for a refund. I don't want to have to mess with it so much to get it to kinda work.
I'll let you know customer service is like.

that's not terribly constructive though. Can't you just answer his question? We're all here to help out here and share information, no?annode wrote:Now you know how it felt for me when I was asking for input but getting posts about starting a new thread. Sorry to hear that Riley. Not sure if you said you were on the pre-order list of 500 or more. Or if your in the US.riley4reason wrote:my order has not shipped yet, so I sent in a request for a refund. I don't want to have to mess with it so much to get it to kinda work.

Don't know how long you've been watching this thread...but I can tell you I made a post regarding all pre-order customers. It said how Doug from Inspired asked that we call his answering machine and leave our purchase info. I posted the number.
What had happened...all order's banking information taken, that became older then 30 days, were no longer accessible and expired.
So...unless you provided them with your payment information a second time, your order could not be fully processed.
If you have any further questions I can help you with, let me know.

I don't want to type it all over again. It's a bit long. I made two posts concerning two methods I shared with everyone. I did say I made them, and implied if he wanted to search them out, I wasn't going to.polaris20 wrote:that's not terribly constructive though. Can't you just answer his question? What help were you on his request polaris20?

And by the way polaris20, this is what I told Maruuk.annode wrote:I made a number of posts concerned with just that matter...but they're gone now...somewhere way back. Sorry.Maruuk wrote:So what's current recommended string tension right now, loosen some from the tight factory settings? Or just leave em the way they are?

So how about linking to them, instead of copping an attitude? What help was I to him? None, yet. I plan on messing with the string tension today, after Maruuk was so kind as to share what OS he was using, and I can now try it on Vista. Thank you for being helpful, Maruuk.annode wrote:I don't want to type it all over again. It's a bit long. I made two posts concerning two methods I shared with everyone. I am not policing anyone, Annode. I just find your attitude extremely annoying. Sorry. I find it pretty amazing that you know the answers or have opinions on something, yet won't link to it or say something. Incredibly rude.annode wrote:And by the way polaris20, this is what I told Maruuk.annode wrote:I made a number of posts concerned with just that matter...but they're gone now...somewhere way back. I thought this was a place to share ideas and help, not cop a snarky attitude. Generally, in other parts of the forum I've participated in here over the years, it has been very much helpful and informative.
I'd like to move on from this, but it's rather difficult with every few posts being like those above. I'm not trying to be combative at all, but I really don't get why you see to be. It's baffling.

My order number was 580 and they charged my card last week and it still has not shipped. It's not a matter of shipping time, I'm in no hurry, it sounds like it does not work very well.annode wrote:Sorry to hear that Riley. Do you still have the phone number for the answering machine?
Thanks!

Try these, however I think I've got a couple more saved in voice mail too that may lead to someone as well. I'll post them up when I get to work.riley4reason wrote:My order number was 580 and they charged my card last week and it still has not shipped. I'm still trying to get a hold of them to confirm a gig bag order. It looked like they had them in stock, but it's hard to say, and they've not responded to an e-mail from Monday yet either.
