Best listened to at medium volume with a sub woofer

Using only Diva (with Bronto Scorpio's patches). 7 frozen Divas :hihi: . No EQ or comp on individual tracks. Valhalla Shimmer reverb is the only other effect used on the main voice leadish-pad sound.

On the mix buss:
A Baxter EQ (Analog Balance preset)> light mix buss compression > Baxter EQ (Expensive High End preset)

Make more patches, and we will use them
Woah! That's awesome
Great use of my patches :tu:

Edit: Added to the big list on page 52 :)

Both examples use the same MIDI dat and no FXs (internal or external). The Slim Phatty example starts around 1:31 mins:

I have published a zip file of the wav file as in the MP3 i get some strange background noise which only seems to happen at some really "fat" sounds.

In the Slim Phatty example i have used around 20% of the filter overdrive. With full overdrive it sounds much more fat than the Diva example which could be corrected with a proper filter drive in a future version or an external overdrive FX (i checked it with the Schwa Oligarc Drive).

IMO Diva sounds much better than any other Moog emulation before and i have not even tested the other filter models or the polyphonic mode...

thanks for the example. The Diva resonance sounds pretty harsh to my ears but there is more in this example than the SP. The SP sounds creamier and beats Diva in terms of weight also. However the modern Moog sound is smoother to be fair. Have you tried the creamware/SCOPE Minimax?

A good representation of the Moog sound from Diva tho.

 Thanks, now i love it much more.

Will be there in future more osc & filter types available? Maybe later through updates or something like that?

So Diva is the first one? I actually think it sounds better than the phatty.

I'm just about to try this out because i was away for the week end... seems to be promising but...
do Diva will be worth buying when we already have ACE , which to me is already an incredibly analog sounding softsynth... what do youy think? is DIVA just a simplier synth (i don't think ACE is too complicated to people who understand how substractive synthesis works) or is it really better sounding than ACE?
You could get more & better (i.e. from Urs :) ) from digging through this thread, but I think to summarize the magic of DIVA is in the nature of the components. With ACE I really love getting a group of modules wired up and sort of tuned into each other to get interesting sounds, my brief experience with DIVA so far is a similar sorts of timbral magic is just there already, the way it is with Tyrell. Maybe ACE is a kitchen, and DIVA is an iron chef.

Danke für die Patchen Denis. It's amazing what a high quality instrument/sound source will inspire in such short time. Seems activity slowed in this thread for the time being. People must be glued to their DAW/keys checking out Diva.

Diva does miss some of the high frequency "silk" in Ingo's example, in comparison to the Phatty. It is a bit sharper and more brittle sounding. As Urs said, Diva needs a "Muffle" parameter! ;)

The moog slim phatty sounds firmer in the bottom, but the filter resonances of Diva sounds in my ears better as the moog ones.

Usually i wanted to buy me a slim phatty to x-mas, but now after hearing Diva, with the triple osc and ladder filter, hmmm i'm very unsure if i need a slim phatty. :hihi:

And i only used 20% of the Phatty's filter drive to keep it "fair". :)
Anyway i'll try to do another demo with full drive and Diva with an additional external filter Drive. Both should be closer then.
